I do design work in this field and can tell you: with the amount of thought that goes into thermal management and voltage insulation, this repair here will not fit any parts of the necessary specs ad thermal models that are used to control it - so thermal hazard or breaking of insulation barriers has a very high possibility here... I would not recoment this - cars are no playground I'm all up for repairing and repurposing electronics - we need to reduce waste -, but this here is a burning car waiting to happen
There hasn't been much activity for these software-wise! Usually you don't need to bother with software, as issue is 99% of times hardware. You could still reprogram them with a VVDI Prog. Processor is SPC5644B
