Awesome, glad I can get some of these cooler items out there as if you never play certain weapons types you might never even run into them. Thanks for watching as usual!!!
While tents may not be game-changing they do however grant some great buffs such as -20% Stamina reduction from a luxury tent that helps in traveling & combat, to the Calygrey Tent that gives a small health regen along with 10% damage buff.
An interesting tidbit that I don't think a lot of people know about is that there is 1 place a legion spear can always be found and it's in the temple that you use to raise the bridges in the Hallowed Marsh. There's a secret cellar area towards the end of the dungeon that has 3 skeletons in it, 1 of them always holds that spear every playthrough. It was in the original version as well! ❤
Out of the spears, Werlig's my personal favorite. Found it while I was hunting for Tsar Stones and saw the 24 Lightning/Physical and thought "Hmm, I am being a Holy Mission character next..." and Legacy chested it so I can get it early. It's very strong to use the Bless Boon and maybe even Infuse Wind to become a mobile sewing machine. Next up, Axes? I love axes in any RPG and no one seems to talk about how good they are
Fun fact about the Werlig Spear: it is on display in the Cierzo Townhall. Unfortunately it cannot be received there, but interesting to think about the reason for it being there.
I personally love the vampire spear, lets you leach you enemies of health while staying out of range and still having respectable attack speed to take advantage of pauses in between opponents attacks
Seems like a very good option tbh. I prefer a vampiric great-sword as a vampiric weapon, but I definitely see the value of the spear. I bet the running attack could be pretty powerful with that one.
Yeah I also think the vampiric spear is a great choice. Using vampiric spear and eating crystal powder frees up all burnt stats. I highly recommend it. You get crystal powder everywhere anyway, so you never run low on max health, max stamina and max mana. It is also the most easy and consistent way to gain HP in a safe manner out of the vampiric weapons (other than the bow).
Also, the spear has the highest base healing speed with exception to knucles (due to inate speed of spears). Perhaps with a lexicon (with damage boost enchantment) you could get higher heal rate on a 1h weapon though. Haven't looked into that.
Horror Spear will always hold a special place in my heart because it's the lightest of the Horror 2 handed weapons, because it's the most profitable for the levant mercahnts. Lightest of the 2 handers, sells for the same price and them, cheaper to get the iron weapon for then the others since it's just a spear >:D
It is the only horror weapon I even make anymore lol. I either use and sell in in Levant later or just make a few and sell them in levant. Great option for money and combat making it a top notch spear.
It is quite the fascinating weapon. Maybe if someone had used it instead of guarding it up on a hill the scourge would have been less of a problem lol.
With the right set/passives and potions i raised the tsar spear (whiplash) to 191 physical, not even varnished. Add the 30% only skills buffs, you can cycle trought hunter/monk skills and use probe better than base attacks. Even with resistance it fucks ups scarlets emissaries in like 15 sec tops. Only the crimson avatar remains to try.
Ah yes I have heard the Tsar Spear is an absolute monster. Never maxed it out myself, but with running attack speed on speedster it could be ridiculous. Kind of has a really mean look to it as well.
@@SheenShots i admit i still hesitate on wich last skill to take as speedster. Is the protection worth it if you have like 5 or 6 ? Do the running attack do THAT much damage?
I’ve been playing as a trog more recently, can you make a trog build because it is really difficult to play as without dreamer or mushroom halberd, of which I have neither
The chestplate and boots are caldera mail. You can only get them from buying them at the blacksmith in New Sirocco. Unfortunately they have very mediocre stats and the helmet is trash, but the bottom half does look pretty cool I have to admit.
That is the skill probe. It doesn't look like that normally, but as you hit enemies it will build up to 4 times and change icons and animation for each. Its from the speedster skill tree in Harmattan.
This has messed with a few people so you aren't the only one. I am not sure why they did it this way but there seems to be no way to go into Outward from desktop and reach the DE version. Time for a new build I guess.
you forgot Brutal spear with Crumbling Anger (50% more physical damage and inflicts burning, poison and extreme poison at the same time) enchantments in this game can make mundane early game weapons into late game powerhouses
says you can use it end game like you cant with all weapons, first special weapons i got i used to beat the game,, armor is the same,,blue sand armor the entire game,,,i find this to be an issue with the game, if everything is comparable why even bother switching? its like a trick to waste your time.
You switch to try out different stats with certain builds. Try a bow with blue sand armor. Your stamina will suck and not let you bow properly. I think you make a valid point, but how many times did you beat the game? Because if it was only once or twice then obviously you wouldn't have switched up armor sets and weapons. It gives it replayability and creative build crafting. You can obviously use anything until endgame. That is not the point. The point was it excels into endgame.
@@SheenShots ive beaten it twice but ive explored ever part of the game and acquired as much of the special gear i could and why wouldnt i check ,,that makes no sense on first play through i am sure every one changes them around to see what they are like.. in my opinion its all kind of junk ive used a bow and many other weapons with blue sand,,hell hang on sec ill do it now just to see ....yeah whatever man youre making stuff up now,, i just checked a normal bow does the same as a skycrown mace in terms of stamina which is an endgame weapon maybe 1%more hard to tell its so close. and does it excel into end game?...what does that even mean a weapons that you carry into endgame thats good? pretty much any special weapon will do.
Man, these top 5s are introducing me to items I didn't even know existed in outward. Can't wait to see what the next top 5 is.
Awesome, glad I can get some of these cooler items out there as if you never play certain weapons types you might never even run into them. Thanks for watching as usual!!!
I'm digging the top 5. Honestly never messed with using tents until I watched the last one. Good stuff!
While tents may not be game-changing they do however grant some great buffs such as -20% Stamina reduction from a luxury tent that helps in traveling & combat, to the Calygrey Tent that gives a small health regen along with 10% damage buff.
I have noticed they are more helpful to people that I had thought. Will definitely keep them up!
I always like Halberds more but some of the Spears are so cool.
Loving the videos as always Sheen! 👍
Halberds have a better swing in my opinion. Also moonswipe breaks the possibility of spears doing more damage for the most part lol.

wow I never fight them enough I guess because I did not know that. Cool!
Thank Ellat for this upload

Sure thing. Two handed are not my specialty, but one handed axes are so freakin good.

Interesting. I will have to check that out actually. Never noticed it.

Your channel is the best channel! I watch your videos everyday
I really appreciate this comment. Thanks you for the support and I hope to bring you the best of gaming in the future!
@@SheenShots tbh you helped me and 2 other friends to really get into outward! Atleast for me this is the most fun and enjoyable game in years
The Werlig spear’s lore is ironic to me. I can imagine some cabal wind mage making it with a the face of someone who deserves an “I told you so”

7:46 I thought you said 40k damage per second at first. Then I realized you said 4 decay damage per second 😂😂
Lol I wish! That would be epic 😂
You had to have been smoking that Ambraine to have heard 40K damage buddy lol.
Bra shriek goes brrrrrr!
Shriek is such a weird yet powerful weapon lol.
Meteoric spear is cool with enkindled enchantment and fire/lightning/elemental damage buffs.
Durability is just so lov.... It looks like the best is the easiest one- Horror Spear
Horror Spear is pretty awesome. Definitely one of the better weapons you can get early on.
I’ve been playing as a trog more recently, can you make a trog build because it is really difficult to play as without dreamer or mushroom halberd, of which I have neither
I will look into it!
Horror weapons are easy to get so use horror halberd. They shred through enemy health bars.
Don't forget gold lich spear which you can craft before leaving the first region
Honestly a pretty darn good spear. I prefer Werlig, but gold lich does make for a fast and really good weapon early on.
How do you get Gold Lich mechanisms int he first region?!
That’s a really cool set of armour you’re running with. What is it?
The chestplate and boots are caldera mail. You can only get them from buying them at the blacksmith in New Sirocco. Unfortunately they have very mediocre stats and the helmet is trash, but the bottom half does look pretty cool I have to admit.
Gold Lich spear? It reminds me of Brand. It causes doom which makes folks weaker to lighting which the gold lich spear inflicts...
Hey what skill is that on your R slot at 1:22 ?
That is the skill probe. It doesn't look like that normally, but as you hit enemies it will build up to 4 times and change icons and animation for each. Its from the speedster skill tree in Harmattan.
@@SheenShots Nice, thx! It looks awesome with the spear and makes me want to try out a speedster build.
I just realized i wasn't playing DE today, turn out you have to launch the game through steam. There goes my barbarian build

Good vid
Give us TOP5 bows pls. I konw the best one but dont know which one I should pick before I will be handle to reach it :)

What’s that skill called @ 1:23?
you forgot Brutal spear with Crumbling Anger (50% more physical damage and inflicts burning, poison and extreme poison at the same time)
enchantments in this game can make mundane early game weapons into late game powerhouses
Ya there are a few enchants that buff up weapons by an insane amount. that is definitely one of them.
what about tsar tho?
i still think that the trog spear is the best
