And when you said in this video that wearing hoop earrings makes you look latina, I was like "Yes I knew it!". I am not Muslim and I don't wear a hijab, but your Turban tutorials are a cute way for me to hide oily hair :)
I was always fascinated by turbans,hijabs they make girls look more sophisticated,elegant and beautiiful! Though I am not from a culture where you are supposed to wear hijab or turban,but I had a need to wear one for some unintelligible reason though my parents never allowed. Now,when I am in my early twenties,I decided to finaly give it a try.As my hair is weak and have a lot of bald spots because of thyroid problems,wearing turban in public made me more self confident,I am not afraid anymore to leave the house .

I've researched what it means and its significance, but I've never really worn it because I feel like I would offend the Muslim religion since I'm not Muslim. emXO Anybody and everyone is free to wrap their hair. A lot of religious women ranging from Jewish to pagan wrap/cover their hair. It is not exclusive to Islam.
Doreen Patterson hijab and turbans are different. if she were to wear hijab where the fabric comes around her face that would be offensive. but she's free to wrap her hair in this way.
In northern Europe , Hijab does not cover the face and why would covering your face be offensive? We must be backward here but people wear what they like.And when its cold lots of people cover their face, muslim or not!
