And when I do I'm going to take notes of the places you mentioned, all beautiful and exciting! Thank you so much it's a pleasure to watch you and to be a little bit closer to Japan with your videos :) Keep it up! ;) Arigatou!
Thank you for the really nice comment just me Really happy to read it and YES! Please come to Japan and enjoy all of the amazing things to see and do here. I wish I had more resources to show off EVERYTHING!! Well, little by little we'll do it. Thanks again! -John
Hello I really appreciate your videos on a country that I been dreaming to go since I was 12 yrs old I love Japan not because I'm a true otaku fan but because of its history I love Japan every time I try so hard to save up something happens where I have to wait for my dream to come true it's already 15 yrs later and I'm still dreaming of a country I love to visit Thank you for videos I really love them.
Your videos are so helpful especially for us (non Japanese)ppl who have zero Japanese speaking skills but also get to know a lot about Japanese cultures
MONO NO AWARE is a feeling that many non-Japanese don't understand, and it's important to know that Japanese have a different way of seeing things. It took me many years to figure out that the way Japanese and I see things can sometimes be different.
I feel a blissful pleasure . 🍎 Thank-you very much to gorgeous , marvelous , splendid and beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom of your video from effulgent Tokyo in profound Japan . 🍎
Best use of Pachelbel's Canon in D I've seen so far.. beautiful shots in this video! i really hope i can experience this firsthand, Cherry Blossoms are one of my favorite things about Japan, alongside food. Keep up the great videos!
Thanks for posting these videos. This reminds me when, during the cherry blossom season, I would visit Hibiya and Ueno Koen (park) in Tokyo to spend time looking at the blooming trees. One of the many things I miss about Japan!
This video has some stunning images of the Cherry Blossom trees. They have always been my favorite, and I love that Japan really appreciates their splendid beauty. I notice that Odaiba's bridge looks remarkably similar to the Verrazano-Narrows bridge of NY, and then there's that mini Lady Liberty. I'm assuming that this isn't coincidence... does anyone know?
My family and I live in Ohio, USA and really love cherry trees... so much so when our old one in front of our house was dying we went and bought a whole new weeping cherry tree in its honor. That tree was always in my back to school photos and was a home to many beautiful birds that we were so sad when it officially died...
this is My favorit video on TH-cam! your the best youtuber ever but when i watch your videos im kinda jealous because i want to come to Japan but cant aford it^^
Hello S.J. Ramos, that's a great idea! I'll ask the show producers about it. That are many kinds of unique housing options in Japan that would surprise some people. I did a report about it for NHK World's Tokyo Eye program in March 2012. -John
Thank YOU for the comment Mark Stafford I really appreciate it. That's too bad you missed the festival. Mother nature doesn't always cooperate, but when it does, it's AMAZING!! Hope you can make it back again for the cherry blossoms soon. -John
I recently descover your videos and enjoying them alot!! Can you give us more tips on how to take advamtage from a 10 days visit to Japan?! Begining with a nice Hotel in Tokio?! I will appreciate!! 🇯🇵💋🙏
Other than this incomparable scenery , there were no scenerys that conveyed the waves of deep impression and pleasure and marvelous feeling to the depths of my soul . From Tokyo in Japan Which national are you watching this video ?
Hi there John! I have been enjoying your channel. Soo informative and descriptive. I feel that I am already there. I will be coming to Japan in late March and into April. I have been trying to narrow where I will stay, but I am struggling. Any pointers would be appreciated! I'd like to be on the fringes of the "center of it all". I'm getting an apartment, so that I may truly experience everything as one whom lives there. Thanks in advance for your help!
Since visiting Shinjuku Gyoen in April, 2015, I've been wanting to return to Japan again. I took several JTB tours, but would like to re-visit several areas on my own and spend more leisurely time , especially in Kyoto. Where are you originally from? Your Japanese is impressive!
some yoshino are not normally propagating trees. they are artificially grown from cuttings. I don't think they have fruit either and birds and bugs avoid some yoshino. something like 70% of Japan's cherry trees are some yoshino. another nhk show had an extensive episode on sakura. I find it incredibly interesting mainly because no other country does one see such beauty. even Japanese forests are managed and there is a reason for everything. I find it awesome. Seriously if it had weather like California or Hawaii I'd move there lol. personally I don't mind winter but summer humidity is a killer for me...argh. I hate that feeling when you dry off from showering and you don't feel really dry lol.
+Victoria Fong It depends on how the weather is. If it has been warm they bloom a little earlier and if it has been cold a little later. In Tokyo last year (2015) They started to bloom around the 25th of March and were in full bloom a few days later. But sometimes they don't bloom until early April. Japanese wether forecasts have a "sakura forecast" in the weeks leading up to sakura season, with a prediction of when they will bloom. Also it depends where you are in Japan if your are in Kyushu then they bloom a bit earlier and in Sapporo a bit later.
Hello. Thank you for the great videos. Would you be able to do one on housing? I'm an american and looking at a nursing job at the Misawa Air Force Base. Thanks, Sal
Japan 🇯🇵 is a gem 💎. Anime , Sakura blossoms, city skyline you name it ..!!! ❣️ Love from Nagaland
Enjoyed this! Looking forward to coming to Japan for sakura season!
Sakura! Sakura!
"your" Sakura tree is truly stunning! I love your appreciation for not only the tree but the Sakura tree importance!
....and on to the next video!
