I tried this and I am impressed! Horrible year for Poa. No tenacity available to ship here so I used .5 ounces of Torocity and 6 ounces of Triad Tz mixed in 5 gallon bucket of water.. Sprayed again in 2 weeks. Boom, dead. I'll be doing this next spring before it emerges. Thanks for the video!

What rates did you apply at. I'm reading the triad application rate is (1.2 to 1.5 Fl oz per 1000 sq ft) so I use a syringe and that would be (35 to 44 ml per 1000 sq ft). Is that for a 1-gallon mix, 2-gallon mix of water or does water amount not matter. For tenacity I use (2.5 ml per 1-gallon water mix).
I'm assuming combing it would be okay, but I want to know what rates per gallon of water you did to not harm the grass.

I want to give your combination (Tenacity, Triclopyr Ester & Sulfentrazone 4F) a go at eliminating the poa annua in my tall fescue lawn here in Oregon. My question is about the use of a non-ionized surfactant. The Tenacity product says it requires a surfactant but the Sulfentrazone 4F product says "surfactants are not advised unless surfactant/sulfentrazone combinations have been previously proven to be safe to a particular turf variety." So, would you recommend using all three agents WITH a surfactant, WITHOUT a surfactant or do one application with only the Tenacity and the Triclopyr Ester in combination with a surfactant and then a second application a few days later with the Sulfentrazone 4F without any surfactant? I also plan to use Prodiamine 65WDG as a pre-emergent separately in the Fall and again next Spring. Thank you.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you'll get all of that triv back next spring. Tenacity does nothing to kill that. @@TurfCulture Thank you for the reply. It's been a few weeks so I can share my experience. I had about five patches of Poa Annua (the really seedy stuff) in my shady back yard. Honestly, i think my irrigation was set too high for the shady condition and created wet spots. It seems the Poa settled into the wet spots. When I first posted, I was almost a week into the first application of Tenacity + Triad. It was yellowing the POA slightly, but didn't seem to be killing it. I was probably a little light on the mix as I feared harming my turf grass. On the second application, I adjusted the ratio to about midpoint (between min and max). Wow, did that stuff die! The turf grass did bleach slightly around the edges, but is already showing recovery. I did not even bother to do the third application as I would have been spraying bare spots. I just reseeded the bare spots yesterday and am hoping for good germination. Next step will be trying to time preemergent to avoid having to deal with it again next year. For what its worth and hoping this helps someone!
