BTW, Barrachina Restaurant and the CaribeHilton claim to have invented the Piña Colada! But the CaribeHilton makes it best!
The corn fritter-type things you enjoyed are called Surullos, (soo rule ee ohs) they’re usually served with MayaKetchup, a product sold in stores that’s literally a squeeze bottle of Mayonnaise and Ketchup! And all of those fried appetizers you had are collectively known as Frituras (free your ahs) aka Fried things.🇵🇷

Goes to Puerto Rico….to a Mexican restaurant 🤦🏻‍♀️ Puerto Ricans are not Mexicans!! And they have the best food in the Caribbean. Epic Fail making a food blog and being clueless about the food and culture of the island your visiting.
