Great video, always thought about Crib Goch but the exposure has held me back! Shame about the cloud too, same thing happened when I went up Ben Nevis. Clear blue skies up until last 200m then cloud so no view at the top!
Thanks so much! Ahh no you should definitely do it, you can change up the route however you want to avoid high exposure moments! I had the same on Ben Nevis, last 200m was just a white out really! The hike itself was worth it though, a great challenge in terms of a longer adventure, really tests the stamina. I hope you get to get out on an adventure soon!
@@kateamandaexplores thanks for the advice, will have to give it a go at some point hopefully soon! Hope you manage to get on an adventure again soon, I've been getting by watching videos like yours and others to get me through lockdown v2!
Cut lips and cookies Kate on Crib Goch can't be bad. That looked a top day out. Wow, a fair few people on top there. A good social I'd say. Good going. Stay well. Mark
Did the Crib Goch route a while ago in similar conditions. A great scramble and we'll worth it. If you want terrifying, try the Aonach Eagach in Glencoe. The narrowest ridge in Britain I believe.
Hi Kate, great video there, looks a tough little scramble up. Never done crib Goch.. I've just found your channel, from you liking my snowdonia video on Facebook. Just subscribed to you and gave video a 👍 look forward to seeing more adventures. ATB Dave 👍
Thank you so much for the sub! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I can't wait to see more of your adventures too! Keep at it and keep sharing our amazing planet!
@@DaveOutdoors Yeah Dave, like equals interest and wise equals discernment or good judgment. Maybe your not a good judge of what I do eh? I find it interesting we are neighbors - you from Shropshire and me from Herefordshire yet you do not visit the man who explores the Wye catchment. I have commented on your videos numerous times since you started and find your absence from my channel curious considering your all over youtube. I am open here because I call it out mate. Yes, I find it offensive and hurtful. Who wouldn't being so close. The Shropshire Lad is strangely the same. Yes, I have wondered at both your rejection and have asked questions considering the supposable common ground. It's right there in front of us - maan you guys couldn't be more dismissive of your neighbor. So, because it's not reciprocated I have stopped commenting and even watching. Wye watch someone who has no regard for you. And here you are calling me Buddy.
@@DaveOutdoors Now then, how am I supposed to know that Dave. You are a serial commenter Dave on youtube - you like to comment mate and make yourself known and ally yourself to channels by doing it. So, I have to ask what is this evident aloofness. Again, how am I meant to know? Indeed, why no open demonstration of support? It's a good question because it leads me to believe other things entirely after such a long time of no show. You get me?
So your last video was one year ago where have you gone 🤔 my question is from 1 to 10 how difficult is the Northern Ridge of Tryfan....im Travelling From lreland to Wales to Climb Tryfan on September 7th
Great vid girls ... watched your Y Garn to ... Nice to see the younger generation getting out ... I started when I was 15yrs old ... 42 years ago ... so it's great watching others getting out and enjoying life ... well done 😉🤟👍
I did the watkin path 2 days ago and this is next on my list thanks for the great video you girls have definitely inspired me to do this one next♥️🏴👊
Great job guys❤ Snowdon is gorgeous. Hate the crowds of people though but dont everyone who climbs lol. Do it mid winter much better but you need to put a few more layers on lol.
The stereotypical white van man! 🤦♂️😂 The mist and the crowds at the top remind me of when I climbed Mt Batur in Indonesia - sunrise climb, got up at like 3am and couldn't see anything 😭
Haha, I didn't think they'd be in Snowdonia! Oh wow, that sounds like an epic hike, such a shame about the views though ... I guess we have to focus on the journey more when aren't rewarded with the views!
Hey great video, after watching this I can't wait to get back to snowdonia.we'll done on your first video. Look forward to watching more.me and Twin peaks made a video up there few months ago hiking moel hebog. Check it out 👍atb dai

2:15 Cringing at the locals letting themselves down. Embarrassing.
Bit of a shit when it's that busy isn't it 🙄
Don't forget you are part of the reason why it's so busy
