this chapter is very close to me. though born in the city we as late 80s kid were dependent on letters. near our house was a post office( now turned into cafe coffee day, strange ), so the postman used to deliver our letters. i used to receive letters of my sister when she was in hostel and send her...to many more. so our postman mr. umesh singhji who was known as mr. america singhji grew from a man with black hairs to white hairs and such warm and so excited when he brought us letters. when i was in hostel i used to write letters to my dad and it was him "hamere postman" who delivered.
Simplicity of lives if you happen to see in complete natural form, it cleanses you from the core...what a lovely story...so simple yet so mesmerizing...
Such a heart touching episode it is. Nowadays persons like thanappa are very rare( it's not thanappa instead ಶಂಕರಣ್ಣ). We really miss you ಶಂಕರಣ್ಣ. I really proud to say that I'm from ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ and ಶಂಕರಣ್ಣ is from here. May your soul in RIP 👤
