That is so cool that you are a ballroom dancer! It's so beautiful and inspiring. This was done through Rotoscope animation, which relies heavily on reference and even encourages you to trace directly over live footage (Definitely look it up if you want to know more!). So partial credit goes towards the original couple who did the beautiful dance! The rest was me, I added my own artistic flair through my drawings. Super fun project, and I'm so glad you love it! I remember I saw this on twitter and was absolutely gobsmacked! The absolutely gorgeous movement makes everything feel so real! From their hair to their dress, it all had weight!
