VW T4 Eurovan VR6 oil change and inspection

Come Along for the ride as we do an oil change on a 2001 Volkswagen Eurovan T4 full camper with the 24 valve VR6 engine. We’re also going to do some underside inspection while we’re there.

What oil 5..40 10..30 ?

Thanks so much for this. I’ve never changed my own oil but would like to. Do you know if the V-6 on the Eurovan Weekender ( not the camper) looks the same? Also, what size blocks did you drive the front of the van onto?

VW used two different VR6 engines in the Eurovan with the split being in 2001. Just make sure you get the correct oil filer. As far as blocks, do you mean ramps? Just make sure you get ones that have a proper load range. Mine are plastic.
