I bought a 2023 Brand new R7 (white with red/orange wheels) I love it! I think its the perfect street bike. Not so fast that you are constantly breaking speed limit laws, but also accelerates with a lot of oomph to make it fun. It's strongest point is handling, which is so intuitive on this bike. It's like you're a Targaryen and this is your dragon, it just knows what you want to do. I can see myself never needing to upgrade to something with more cc's, I'm perfectly content with this. Unless you're a regular track day rider, I don't think you need anything more than what the R7 gives you. Lastly, it's looks are top tier! It's an attention grabber around town.
I bought an R7 as my first bike this summer, i had zero riding experience and honestly it was a heart dropping amount of torque. I had alot of close calls and accidental wheelies, but after 4 months or so the power became manageable and still intoxicating.
He said it but didn’t say it enough for the message to get across this is ONLY a good starter bike if you come from like dirt bikes as a kid or of the sort you must have some knowledge or you will more than likely hurt yourself the bike has aggressive seating position and has enough torque to throw you off if you have no idea on throttle control. Be safe out there.
I just purchased my 2024 R7 last week as my first bike. I have no prior experience on motorcycles. I would say it’s a good starter bike ONLY IF you have self control. The throttle is very easy to control in my opinion and the bike is extremely lightweight, which I think is ideal for a starter bike. It absolutely has enough torque to get a beginner in a lot of trouble, but if you respect it, it’s the perfect bike to grow into
@@VapoHamilton the CBR650R was my first choice for my first bike, but it was literally impossible to find (New England, USA). I considered a Ninja 650, but I didn’t like the sound, and felt it would be too slow once I got used to it (though the specs are nearly identical to the R7, it has slightly less torque and Hp, and weighs slightly more… and I mean SLIGHTLY) The R7 sounds amazing with an exhaust as well. My buddy just picked up an MT-07 as his first bike so I figured I might as well go with the R7 lol
@@rezaali2751 if you can bro I recommend holding onto the mt09. As long as u can. And if you are able to wait I would get the 25 r7 but if you don’t wanna wait go for the 24 r7. You can’t go wrong with either. However I will say going from a mt09 to the r7 can quickly make u miss the mt09 so that’s why I recommend having both if possible!
R7 beginner bike ? So R6 is just midclass bike ? And R1 is just an intermediate bike ? Bruh 😂 R3 and R15 are just trash wow . This westerns are so inaccurate 😂😂😂

Lucky you. That intensity white is nice.
great vid. but the r7 was never intended to be a replacement for the r6. Just a new street ready and more capable of a bike
My bad. I always thought it was the replacement
@@R1ndone all good brother , again great vid ! great points made still . I just can’t wait till the r9 comes out tho bro 😤👌🏾

@@BillyEmrich good choice you don’t like Kawis mid size bikes? Or what influenced your choice just wondering no hate love the r7

It’s an amazing bike for 9100$ sounds like a damn Ducati, without the Ducati price tag lol. I’m team Yamaha.
Which exhaust are you using?
Do you have a quick shifter installed?

Imma trade it for a R9 🥱
Fair. Gonna have a blast on that 3 cylinder bro

What a waste of cc’s, under power the 600’s destroy all these light weights
No s***t 🙄 it’s not made to compete with the 600 😂 you’re so smart!
