A lot of people think it’s so nasty that kahala have worms. They think if fish have worms then they come from pilau water, when it’s the exact opposite haha. Those kinda worms can only thrive in clean, Unpolluted water. Worms are harmless too. Seen guys eat the worms raw😂😂😂
Yes I've heard of people eating those worms raw too. You even got people that throw them back into the water because of the worms & I'm like noooo haha. 🤙

Trust me bro, we've tried many many times before we got the Drone. All we got was a bunch of unused footages piling up on the hard drives 🤣 maybe when we finally get our 4x4 we can hit up better spots and hopefully hook up shore casting style 💯
Man I can't imagine you guys going back to shore casting after being so productive with the drones. Usually the fish is around 100 yd plus ah? I guess it depends on da areaz too.
Yes it's very productive and addicting hooking pelagics from shore, but I don't want it to get to a point where I rely on it too much. I still shore cast with a jig in hopes of hooking up something big that is episode worthy, until then I'll just keep trying 💯
I've tried it once, hands down was one of the best fish I've ever ate. People say that this fish holds a lot of Ciguatera so it's always a risk. Many fishes can contain certain amounts of the toxin like the Ulua Kole & ROI peacock grouper being the worst. I guess it depends on where you catch them, the spot where we're at is far away from any resorts or anything that can affect the reef.
Yup, we got the widows haha, but in my entire lifetime I've never seen one up close, I heard that they are near our Hilo airport growing up. The centipedes are stuff of nightmares 🤣
