My band hopped on this tour for a few dates in the northeast (including this gig). Wayne was killer every night. A lot of singers don’t hold up live but he did, brilliantly. He had one of the coolest, most robust voices in the genre.

We have a couple tunes on TH-cam that we just tossed up toward the end of our run. Maybe “decision collision” and “contents of confinement”? The video for contents shows us at our peak in front of about 5000 people. It was a pretty cool time

Wayne just had that talent that many don't have. I truly enjoy watching him perform, and he knows how to use his voice perfectly. Static-X with Wayne was definitely one band i wanted to see but couldn't.

It wasnt a static X show. It was Waynes solo band, he was touring Pig Hammer in 2012. It does bother me too.. For anyone who doesnt know however.. Eventually because of poor ticket sales, he made an arrangement with Tony Campos to use the static X name to draw more of a crowd, but thats how you can tell if its Static X or Waynes solo band. If Tony is on bass its Static X, if he isnt, its the solo band. Legal rights for the Static X name belonged (at the time) to Tony Campos and Wayne Static. One couldnt use the name without the other which is how Static X is touring in 2019. Since Wayne passed away, Tony now owns the name.
The best show I ever went to was a Static-X show in El Paso Texas in the early 2000s. I have never had the same experience at any other show with any other band in my life.
