Bass Pro Shop is indeed an experience. We were looking for tourist-y stuff to do on a road trip and the BPS was suggested as a destination in Memphis... we thought, what the f*ck is wrong with Tennessee that makes the Bass Pro Shop the most interesting thing to do, but... we went anyways, and it was absolutely amazing.
I've only gone to the local Bass Pro like, 3 times in my life, but every time has been an extremely chill experience
Its like the exact opposite of every other store thats trying overload you with information. Bass Pro is like "here's a water fall and some props, sit and relax for a bit"
So I was inspired by Brian and decided to follow on his steps and try to grind to at least gold rank (currently flip-floping between ultra bronze and silver). Had one of the weirdest sessions about a week ago when i began with an 9 win streak and a rank promotion, only to lose ALL that progress and go back down to almost the exact amount of points i had in the beginning.
For some reason SFV seems harder to learn to me, dunno why.
I made a vid yesterday about the same problem. I almost hit super silver and then almost fell back to ultra bronze and it hurt so much that I almost wanted to quit the game entirely, dayum. After slowly climbing ranks and coming close to a rank up, you feel you could really need that little bit of extra luck after all your hard work, but no...boom! Sfv can be so cruel. 😱😅

Turning your brain off more or less based on opponent rank can be subconscious self preservation, but the other part is experience telling you what works, because respecting higher level players is a necessity but giving too much to lower ranks can prove fatal as they will crumble much easier under pressure and not punish nearly as harshly, so letting them set up offense is fiving them a chance to rob your ass

Mister Editor, if you can hear me, could you please consider showing Brine typing the number on the spreadsheet (at least a bit)? There's a weird satisfaction to it, I think would make the end of the videos a bit smoother.
He usually types it somewhere else then copies that and pastes it into the spreadsheet, so there's not much to show. In this case he also accidentally pasted the wrong number on his first try, so I did some skimming.
