Not just the work on Road of Resistance, but bringing Babymetal onstage at Download 2015 after one of the event organizers said BM would never perform at Download. That was the greatest kindness given!

He's also hyped up other Japanese girl-groups that go against the grain. Still, I love Oli's rant at SummerSonic about how much he loves BM.

I saw them open up heavy Montreal back in 2014. It's incredible to see how they've progressed into the more heavier and mature version of themselves. Cant wait for the album.
Yes, it's taken me a few listens to get into it. I hope the guitars are pushed a bit more forward in live performance and maybe on the CD as well. It is certainly encouraging for the new album. What I really hope for is more from Moa and no masks on the Kamis.
Divine Attack gives me Starlight vibes because of Su's vocals, the meaning of the song is similar to Road of Resistance, and that quiet part that sounds like its going to become a guitar solo, but doesn't, always reminds me of Distortion.
@@slowtalker the second pre-chorus has just the right amount of vibrato for my taste. The fact that she does sing with very little vibrato is exactly why I love her voice so much.

Baby metal is actually insane, had a friend show me, thought it would be alright, but they do NOT mess around at all Haha. They go hard every song and every concert. It’s been my top band ever since behind Metallica and dragon force.

As you said after hearing it a couple times it grows on you I remember thinking the same thing when listening to Metal Galaxy, even when the song isn't an instant hit it grows on you until you love it.
The beauty of this song is it’s simplicity, coupled with its musicality. BM definitely has matured a lot, and I love it.
I agree - this is definitely the warm-up song for the album. Very much like Distortion, the first release from Metal Galaxy - straightforward song structure, big sweeping chorus with a catchy hook - a good setlist song for festivals and to grab interest from a wider audience with a more mainstream sound.
They've got a plan, for sure.

It's the start of the new legend of Babymetal.
It's so cool to see you following their progress and supporting them. I think the song is amazing and Su-Metal has for the first (?) time written the lyrics. I think the lyrical flow was one of the highlights, so she's off to a good start. I wish it was a little longer though, with a solo or another verse after the quiet DnB part. But still, it was an immaculate first release and they are surely saving the best songs for later, like you mentioned. Can't wait to see them in April.
Road of Resistance is one of my favourites and it was a nice surprise to see that the guitar you used has my favourite color! It looks really nice.

The track sounds awesome. Kind of the techno metal sound, similar to Amaranthe. Heavy but very lyrical, almost a symphonic feel to it.

The lyrics for 'Divine Attack - Shingeki' seem very reminiscent of 'Road of Resistance', although from Su's more mature perspective.
I've watched the clip from the Golden Gods Awards in 2015 many times.
Everyone looks like they were having a lot of fun.
I am tempted to request David Heretic to look at that collaboration. Especially after the poor quality 'fan cam' he watched for the collaboration with RHCP.

I also had the thought that they didn´t gave us the big bang to announce the album. I am looking forward to the other songs and the album. Also, i listened to this song the second time now and i got goosebumps. The first listen to is just to get you hooked and it pulls you in probably more and more the more often you listen to it.

Yeah it’s definitly more towards Metal Galaxy than their earlier stuff. Personally I like the more of the Syncopation style and power metal song like Road of Resistance and Amore so I hope for more stuff like that on the full album later as well:)

I listened to it on Tidal and it's deffo a banger! But it does feel like a "safe" song if you know what I mean. I expect to be blown away by future songs as always when new Babymetal songs drop. They always find a way to make your jaw drop and take you by surprise.
They released some teasers of new songs on their social media pages, and some of them have me really excited

I get a crazy Architects vibe from this. This and Monochrome sound like they could be on SiriusXM Octane. I think after Kingslayers success they may be going for a more western hard rock/metalcore sound.
Syncopation and Divine Attack are my favorites.. These ladies have matured soooo much.

Baby metal was at their best at their 1st and 2nd albums....full of unique characters....now, sound just like any other rock bands.
I've never listened to BabyMetal much but if this is their warmup then I want to hear the whole album
