- An introductory video to the SL55 AMG that I picked up in November of 2022. Vehicle had 182,117 miles when this video was taken. Planning to make more videos as I go through and fix, adjust, and modify it to my liking.
That interior is effin gorgeous...and I only like these cars in that widebody form. 👍👍👍
Yeah, once you've seen them with the widebody kit the stock cars just look so plain!
Lovely car. The SL55 AMG is timeless. Who would believe that it was designed over 20 years ago! That car which you have seems to have only minor issues. I look forward to following your progress on getting that beautiful car sorted. I also own a 2003 SL55 AMG, I have owned it since 2008! I love it.

Sl r230 with black series widebody is a lifehack which only few are aware off :). Whata a looker, ypu put that thing next to ferraris or porsche and probably it will look more badass, thats my next car for sure but dont know if gonna build one from scratch or buy a ready project

Try putting resistors in the fog light outlets. I used a Sylvania LED bulb in my parking lights and it made the lighting do all sorts of weird stuff. they would blink, and sometimes one tail light would stay on. The bulb circuits are weird in these cars.

Is the body kit made of what material? I hope it's not made off of fiberglass?

I'd like to know what a "Good price" was. I just purchased same car, color combo etc minus widebody kit for $6k was contemplating doing widebody on mine 🤔 kit is $1800, body/paint myself...tough call
$13,500. I figured there's about $10k in bodywork and tasteful interior improvements.

It was already on the car when I got it, and it's been on there at least 7 years now. I think it's still offered for sale on ebay?
That engine power cut is caused by the charge cooler pump failure. It's an easy fix.
I like this, i prefer the headlights over the sl65
I think they're better looking than the newer ones too. I do plan to upgrade them at some point like Fisher Fast though.
