I’ve been asking you so many questions without realizing you had a video explaining fittonia care 🤪thanks so much, it was begging me to water it, I just get so confused with watering and with my calatheas who are drama queens as well.
Great video. I also have a red fittonia but I placed it by my bright Grow light and it got bleached? The leaves are bright red and only a few have the “Nerve” look on them. It’s also very leggy although I pinch it back often. My green Nerve plant which is basically in the same light conditions, is compact and has the dark green color and nerve pattern. I realize that the red ones do have larger leaves but why has it reverted to a bright red color? It looks good but I was wondering why yours is different? And how do I get a bushier plant?
I have a red nerve and it’s leaves are crunchy and becoming discolored? Also, is it normal for the water to run so brown when I do water? What should I do?
I only have hypoestes, polka-dot plants; never tried fittonia, but I need to... oh, and not to sound stalkerish in another comment (I swear I'm not that guy - trust), but the baseball cap is a good look for you ;-) hehe
i just got a little baby one yesterday im so excited, this was very helpful!
Thanks for this video. I just got one and love it. Red is really striking.

Haha I’m always free to be bugged. Don’t worry about it
Mine has large leaves like this. It’s in my bathroom with a Southfacing window. I also still fertilize it with fish emulsion fertilizer.
One of my favorite!!
Can you mist the nerve plant?

How about the soil Mixture?
General purpose potting soil
Enjoy your info
Those are huge 😮
Wow...that was cute
I'm glad I found your video because I just got a fittonia, it's called Grey sensation. I'm just wondering about fertiliser for this beauty. Any tips?
Just a general purpose, balanced fertilizer is great :)
@@tannertheplanter102 would you use it once a week or maybe closer to once a month?
@@juniperparla3584 as directed on the packaging of your fertilizer.
Only a few times a year, as they are rain forest plants and are adapted to soil that has a lot of its nutrients leached out from the rain
@@SwolisticTy thank you! 💚
Aaah thank youu
😂❤❤❤❤😊
