When this movie came out, a local radio station in my area- Seattle/Tacoma- bought out all the tickets for two showings of this movie, and proceeded to give all the tickets out for free and encouraged everyone to come and heckle, make jokes, yell and scream and be loud and have fun, and the movie theater totally supported it. It was one of the funnest times I’ve ever had at a movie and I’ve never been to anything else like it. I’ll never forget it and I wish this was a somewhat regular occurrence with absolutely horrible movies like this. It was all in good fun, the theater was completely packed, and the jokes were flying! It was hilarious and the most fun I’ve ever had at a theater! For that, I will forever appreciate this movie, for all the wrong reasons lol.
That is a such a cool idea. I’d go to the theatre for that
You should totally go see Rocky Horror or The Room in theaters (if they still exist after quarantine). It's just like that.
That sounds fantastic!
They still supported the movie financially though

Barely. That movie flop so hard that wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket.
But yeah this is the kind of movies need to be laughed at.
Halle Berry fresh off her oscar-winner I believe before the curse really took hold.
I just love the sequence of Chris having to take a break and go sit with the notion of "She turns 40". That was art.
Same here. Especially with the sequence having him play the Switch, and reading Batman: The Long Halloween. I thought it was hilarious and art, as well, dude.
That made me laugh so hard. :D
I watched this movie when I was quite young. At that time I was like "wooow cool" and also I really love cats. But as I got older and understanding more of plots, storylines, script writings, cinematographers, etc, I must say that this movie actually not as good as I had thought when I was younger.
But hey, give credit to Halle Berry for admitting that the movie sucks, lol. She's gorgeous in the movie. Nice costume-design. She's entertaining, sexy, funny, and captivating. I personally think she didn't deserve the hate.
And this movie is much better than CATS.
Same feelings actually, it's safe to say that it's really not a good movie, but it's honestly a guilty pleasure
Agree!!
I finally found my crew. People need to realize that this has nothing to do with comics there is no DC or Batman. These were the days when science fiction witty comedy movies were popular. Movies like shaggy dog being a good example. And Catwoman takes that route it doesn't necessarily take things seriously but just tries to entertain a casual non comic nerd audience.
@@rthur. It's no excuse that the final product is absolutely shit in just about every way. It's bad as a comic book adaptation, it's also bad as a movie
@@rthur. that’s no excuse for it to be the steaming pile of dog shit it is 😂
"I died, BUT I LIVED!"
What an opening sequence, this is going to be such a treat lol
Chris has officially lost his mind from the virus.
Ok I’ve gotta vent here. I honestly hate his new Hilariocity reviews, ever since The Fanatic (which was before the virus). All of the yelling and forced swearing and overly snarky/sarcastic humor is just annoying and unpleasant. Is it just me?
@@seankoontz4235 makes me laugh honestly. both are okay... wicker man was my favourite.
Isaac the Worship Warrior I don’t think it was the virus that made him go ballistic XD
It’s just his transformation into a comic book villain.
When he does a review of Starwars caravan of courage I'll call the men in white coats in the van with square wheels to take him away 😬
Life of Pi is a good cat movie Richard Parker is practically the second protagonist
“She turned 40.” Chris Stuckmann
Oh, she turned 40? I thought she was only in her mid-thirties or something. Did she really turn 40? I can't even believe it! Hey, dude/lady, she turned 40! Unbelievable, right!?!? She may be 40, or perhaps, it may be Maybelline?
19:59 She turned 40
@@Marelfan Yep. She sure did! Did everyone know this?!
Best meme for that video period. 😂
Can we all just take a second and be thankful for Christopher Nolan. Thank you for giving us a Selina Kyle who’s just a crazy good cat burglar and doesn’t have freaky cat powers.
Or a weird supernatural resurection just come back with a completly new personality, why does she keep getting supernatural resurrections if she is just a human being with combat skills? atleast in here it makes sense i guess
Nolan wishes he were half as funny and humorous as Pitof's masterpiece.
Poor Chris having to endure this atrocious movie, the lockdown is obviously getting to the poor chap.
Hilarious video which had me in fits of laughter ("she turned 40'), the lengths Chris goes to entertain his fans is commendable, best go have a lie down now Chris in a dark room with a nice mug of hot chocolate.
Burst out laughing at that part lol.
I rather have the goddamn virus than watch Catwoman
@@Vamroc I rather see the fucking Butthole Cut of Cats than watch Catwoman..
Believe me he's been through worse. Went as far as watching and reviewing Dragon Ball Evolution twice and I commended Chris on his bravery.
@@tropicvibe Agreed, even tho this movie is GOD-AWFUL, Dragon Ball Evolution is somehow much, much worse. IMO anyway.
The best cat movie we’ve gotten is Cats Don’t Dance.
Think about that.
Yep. Underrated
Aristo-cats es a really great animated movie.
Mike Myers The Cat In the Hat was nice.

I still love Roger Ebert's video review of Catwoman: "There are three good things in this movie. Halle Berry's face, Halle Berry's body and Halle Berry's costume. Those are first rate. Everything else is unbelievably bad!" I agree.
I don't even agree about the costume. Those are donkey ears.
The costume is bad though except the first one but for sex appeal they are both great
@@williamblakehall5566 I could do without the donkey ears but I've yet to see a Catwoman mask that didn't look cheesy.
Real talk: How many beers did it take Chris to get through this? My guess is six.
Mu guess is it took something stronger than beer. :)
Screw beers
I'll raise that bet to a solid 8 or 9.

I have NEVER watched the movie. This is the most exposure I have ever experienced and... I’m glad I never did. 🙏🏼
You missed out.
Why is the fact that she searched "cats. women" the funniest part of this movie to me? I mean, I just...what lmao?
This whole movie is probably just a cover story for someone who got caught with this in their google search history
I'm pretty sure a rational person would have typed in "Help I'm acting like a cat even though I'm not a cat it's not an anime catgirl thing I swear just plz help also plz don't call the police."
Because there's absolutely NOTHING else to laugh at in this "film" and seeing stupid in action can make you giggle. That doesn't make watching this "film" any less painful... Michelle Pfeiffer was the best Catwoman, hands down..
"And that is the plot of catwoman."
No, that is the plot of the Clayface episode of Batman the Animated series. Just make Sharon Stone into Clayface and the business guy Roland Daggett, and have her use the makeup to look young again. then have NotRoland Daggett overdose her on "renew-you" and we have the clayface episode.
Shiirow but that episode was really fucking entertaining 😂
Johnathon Davis I agree they were badass in Batman Arkham City
I thought the same exact thing and then I saw this comment
Magnificent
I just watched that episode the other day lmao
Catwoman’s sex-obsessed work friend is played by Alex Borstein who voices Lois in Family Guy.
Alex Borstein was truly awful in CW. But didn't she recently win an emmy? So her acting chops must have improved since then. She was funny as the Chinese Lady character on Mad TV.
Up Vote. Didn't know that.
Hey 🅱️eter
I think she's better known as Susie Myerson in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel now.
She was also eric griffons wife in workaholics. Funny lady, just not in this.
"You know she turned 40"
The dog was like...Cat's, am I right?
Yes, that was really good.
You can't slap someone with a Sharon Stone-face
I didn't realize how much this movie was affecting Chris until he started laughing like Krusty the clown
“Then I Turned 40”
Best villain motivation to surpass Thanos’ and Killmonger’s.
Yes
I'd love to see a tim burton-esque remake of Catwoman...y'know, the way a Catwoman centric movie should be
When Patience’s friend said “Bone” I literally closed my eyes for 20 seconds in disbelief.
This movie actually has that campy and hilarious quality found in some bad movies that I like. The evil makeup plot is awful and the action scenes are atrocious but I find it quite entertaining to see her actually acting like a cat. Halle Berry is the best part of this movie. She really didn't deserve all the hate.
Nope. Sharon Stone does before Basic Instinct 2. Ugh.
Hands down a guilty pleasure for me, really
I feel the same way about Twilight
I LOVE this movie!!!! Yes, it's bad, but Halle is so beautiful, Ben Bratt so handsome, Sharon Stone so OTT, and the music's great & the cats are beautiful. One of the BEST bad flicks! Like Showgirls!
@@adampellett4917 Thanks for reminding me about Basic Instinct 2...
That film SUCKED!
“She turned 40”.....”She turned 40”. Great job on this one Chris. 😃✌🏽
21:59 - Wow, going frame by frame through this is almost inspiring. The amount of cuts is jawdropping here, and some cuts lasting for 7 frames, like that one kick where she inexplicably is upside down, but standing in the next cut. Amazing stuff. The three seconds from 22:06-22:09 has 12 god damn cuts.
As a woman, I feel like this is the most condescending comic book movie ever.
How dare you assume this movie is for/about women! This is a wonderful representation of cats & the struggles they go through for equality.
Is it because of the feminist undertones?
As a man, I feel like this is the worst comic book movie ever.

The idea that people spent money to see this shakes me to my very soul.
John Doe don’t get mad at me but I think I spent $3 renting this on amazon to laugh at it lol
I see the fading in shot of Chris' depressed and broken face is becoming a Hilariocity staple.
Flynn McTaggart it’s some top level cinematography.
I'm embarrassed to say I was an extra In this movie. It was cool seeing Halle Berry though (she came to greet us in full Cat Woman attire)

Miro Maynigo I’m still in shock that she actually accepted this role. 🤦🏼♂️
@@duckymomo6675 well it's Catwoman. Any actress would love to play that role. Actors don't get to read the full script until they get hired. She probably didn't know what she was signing up for other than "It's a Catwoman origin story."

20:00 So I’m watching and enjoying your review as usual and you go on the hilarious “She turned 40!” trip. The really funny thing (and believe me, I am not making this up): next to me are a) my Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing Edition, and b) the exact Batman: The Long Halloween edition you were reading!
That “wow” moment aside, I loved your take on Catwoman. The only thing missing (in my opinion) was a mention of the completely awful costume, especially the mask which always makes me think of a Vollswagen (old) Beetle’s front trunk.
Chris: *How sarcastic shall I be in this review?*
Chris: *Yes*
I guess you could say Sharon Stone’s skin turned to....Sharon “Stone.”
I’ll see myself out

She was trully a Stone, Sharon.
Better than Berry's character in The Flintstones literally being named "Sharon Stone".

Chris, my ex gf in high school told me that this movie was pretty good and to check it out some time. Needless to say, this was one of the many reasons why we ended up breaking up HAHA
Cat puns, cat-chphrases, Sharon Tomb-Stone even Lois Griffin talking about sexual fantasies of the Detective. No wonder it's not an purr-fect movie since I saw that. Poor Halle Berry. She's always be beautiful in movies. Way to go, WB.
To quote the great film critic Roger Ebert.
“There’s 3 good things about Catwoman”
“Halley Berry’s costume”
“Halley Berry’s body”
“Halley Berry’s face”
“Those are first rate”
