- Making a diorama of the bacta tank scene from Star Wars Empire Strikes Back using foam boards, decal files from dioramaworkshop.com, a fish tank air pump, LED filaments, 3d-printed props from ebay user "stuff_sl" and Hasbro Power of the Jedi action figures.
(In hindsight I would probably use an "air stone disk" for the bubbles if I were to do it again.)

So cool
This is just incredible. I just began customizing myself, and I can only pray that one day I can make something of this level of quality and detail!
Kid you look strong enough to pull the ears off a gundark. 😅 seriously.... nice job
Great job man! Turned out great!
Great Job!!!!
Perfect look, great!! 😊
Epic work!
This is fantastic 😄
Magnifique realisation
i'm sad, your diorama is fantastic but you dont paint the éléments décoration and figurines. it's very important for complete this realistic scene ! but very nice work !
I think my main goal was really to give those original toys the surrounding they always needed. I did weather the crate and barrels off camera. But now that you say it, yes I could have done some of that to the toys too...
Maybe next version. 😉
i hope , sincerely your dio is just magic ;)@@ReflectiveYak
good maiking
Deberías tener mínimo 5 millones de suscriptores bro! Sigue así, no se cuando pero pronto haré uno de esos 😅
AMAZING GREAT STUFF - THE FORCE IS WITH YOU.... I would love to know how the oil has affected anything over the last year or so? Still happy?
Still looks like day one! Baby oil FTW 😄
Impressive.... Most impressive. May I ask, what kind of paper did you use to print out the decals?
Something like this: www.ebay.com.au/itm/143541468520?var=442496411867
@@ReflectiveYak thank you my friend.
Hi! Great video 😃 I have a question, what are the led brightness controllers called? The size is perfect for a project of mine and would love to get some. Have a wonderful weekend ☀️
They're called "trimmer potentiometer".
Awesome work!!! So question, the baby oil.. will it cause damage to the statue in the long run ?
That's part of the reasons I went with baby oil.
1. the viscosity, hoping to slow down the bubbles for more realism, 2. the sterility: nothing yuck will grow, and 3. the material/paint-safety. It seems mineral oil has no effect on most plastics. (And I thought if it's deemed safe for babies it'll be safe for mini-Luke!)
After more than a year it's still all as new. 👍
@@ReflectiveYak I was going to ask the same question. I figured the viscosity would affect the bubbles but then i figured the more viscous the bigger the bubbles, which may or may not have been the outcome you wanted. But also, for the sake of not having to deal with gross water overtime. So how is this holding up after a year? any issues? baby diaper Luke still holding up alright? do you keep it actively running as a bookend?
@@jbischof71 It runs for a few hours a week, and still looks just like day one. 👶👍
@@ReflectiveYak that’s great to hear because I was almost literally awake in the middle of the night staring at the ceiling, and I was like…. When it’s off does the oil back flow? Meaning you have to actually care that the hot glue holds well and you don’t have to worry about a baby oil disaster leak.. idk. I wake up manic sometimes
@@jbischof71 Yes, a baby oil leak would be a bit of a disaster... But it's all sealed with silicone (not hot glue), and the tube loops *above* the surface level so no risk of flowing back into the air pump when turned off.
Also, meditation works magic for sleep! 😉
What type of foam board was that?
That's the one: www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/a3-foam-board-5mm-white-5-pack-ljpcfba3w5
Do you make these for sale?
Sorry no
Great job. Paint his eyes closed in the next one.
Good point! Never noticed! 😄
Want to sell it? :)
Priceless to me ;)
Wow
