    Morning Hans. Thanks for ur insights on the BT30D, which I have ordered through Amazon.
    My question is..Can this devise be hooked onto the ADCOM power amp to drive the Klipsch 100watts each Tower model speakers and the Definitive Technology Sub (250 watts) together and get a rich Audiophilic sound...just like the normal integrated or stereo amp?
    I'm not much of a technological expert like most in here are, except that I love the old 80's & 90's music, apart from the country music that I listen a lot to.
    Could u please advice on this question that I have requested. Thank you and wishing u every success in the vedios that you are doing. Do have a lovely day ahead.

    • @hanzdidit
      @hanzdidit  ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest with you I'm not 100% sure. These many amps are supposed to act as the amp so you should not need an extra amplifier on your speakers. Your subwoofer is a different story if you have a powered subwoofer and just need the signal to go to the powered subwoofer than you connect an RCA to the subwoofer and you should get great results. Hopefully that was helpful I'm not really sure if I answer your question or not.

    • @MrKiteflyer
      @MrKiteflyer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hanzdidit First of all thank u for ur quick reply Hans.
      Well, the speakers are not the book shelf kind, these are Tower models. The BT30d looks really puny in comparison to these large speakers and The Sub.
      Hence, it's kind of looks Awkward to acknowledge that this small Amp may really do the job of powering the Klipsch speakers. Since I already have an ADCOM (Model GFA - 2535) I was thinking if I should connect the BT30d through the Power Amp to get a richer sound effect.

    Do you know if this amp will reliably drive the Jamo 801s and a Jamo 808 sub? I'm looking to upgrade my girlfriends' turntable setup from an old Sony reciever that has seen better days and can't find the answer I'm looking for. General audio recommendations like impedance and wattage matching between the amp and speakers don't help out too much since Fosi lists such a wide range in the manual.

    • @hanzdidit
      @hanzdidit  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think this would work just fine. the powered 801 and 808 subs just use a signal from the amp it is not actually driving the sub so it should work great. thanks for watching.

      @@hanzdidit thank you for the response. I realize the 808 sub is powered and is just getting the signal into its own amp. My big question on the BT30D is whether the Sub Freq (subwoofer crossover frequency) adjustment is only a low pass crossover for the subwoofer low-level (RCA line level) and high-level (powered) outputs, or if it also serves as a high-pass filter for the main L/R high level (powered) outputs.

    • @hanzdidit

      @@brianchristopher4666 no he said the opposite. You can turn down the low frequency volume in the main speakers using the bass adjustment control only. Turn down the bass knob for the L/R speakers, and adjust the sub frequency to slightly overlap the L/R bass. This way the sub takes on all the lowest frequencies and the L/R speakers take over for the high bass/mid/treble frequencies. If the L/R speaker frequency range is 120Hz - 20Khz you would want the sub knob to roll off its frequency at 120Hz and handle everything below 120Hz.

      Speaker wire does make a difference especially when you are trying to get a lot of volume. My suggestion would be to use a powered subwoofer that way you can adjust the amount of base that you're getting directly from the subwoofer and not relying on the amp alone. In the video I show the amp running the subwoofer which works great but if you're not getting enough base you will either need a larger subwoofer or a powered subwoofer. Maybe try new speaker wires first and see if it makes a difference. Thanks so much for watching and supporting my channel.

      @@hanzdidit Thanks for your reply. I'm using a powered sub, and what I mean is - sometimes I want to get 'louder than max' (as my speakers have another 25W to spare), and then I all I can do is turn up sub volume on the BT30D (or up the crossover frequency), and then of course it can get too bass-heavy.
      I'll try getting some good cables and see if it makes any difference, as mine seem to be in the 'crap' category.
      After that I'll just wait around for a more powerful such product with matching features to appear.

      @@hanzdidit Would you say that the Douk Audio M1 Pro could be a "better" alternative to the BT30D?

    When you run rca cables from the TV to the amp, we haven't been able to control the TV audio with the TV remote. Any idea why this may be? Seems like it should control it.

      I think the volume would have to be controlled by the external device that you have plugged in. I would try using a headphone jack if your TV has one that would probably work off of the TV remote. Hopefully this is helpful, thank you so much for watching.
