Are you going to make any more videos? I've watched literally every one of them. I love your style and approach to a capsule wardrobe! Please make more content!
👍🏾 perfect. Honestly I have gotten alit from you already. I may not be able to get a suit from you but I have already ordered trousers now from my tailor based on the knowledge I have gotten by watching you. This is a perfect video for Coates
Wow such good advice! As I teach myself tailoring, this video is FULL of VALUABLE INFORMATION! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with the public!
Thank you sir. This was one of the most useful videos that I have watched, to make me a better educated consumer when it comes to jackets for suits. The specific markers to look for that you covered in your video will come in handy. I always learn something new as a subcriber to your channel.
Juan Holtuin Hi Juan, it’s just a lifetime of learning about classic dress. Reading, research, curiosity, travel, exploration etc. anyone can do it but it takes time and dedication.
@@AskOkeyInc I agree sir! Well, I have to say, I find it very interesting and I would like to learn more about this. Perhaps a mentor like you could help me..?
That was very informative about the Button position on the jacket. I was wondering about just that topic! Awesome. Please don't Stop doing these Videos. P.S I'm sure your 6 foot or 6 foot 2. Do you prefer thin Lapels or Large?
Cobb ETL PROGRAMMER I am just over 6ft tall. I’m partial to large lapels because I have a broad chest. There’s no hard rule on lapels except they need to be proportional to your chest. The classic size is 3.5 inches but you can add or remove from it depending on your build
Good question Aziz. We do not have a full feature video on measuring yourself, but on our AskOkey SHOP (www.AskOkey.com), there are short video clips on what SPECIFIC MEASUREMENTS we need to make your coat. Please visit the website and click on any product and it pulls up the measurements tab. Click on that tab and you will find an array of short measurement video clips. PROFF👑
I just subscribe to your channel. I was curious if you were going to upload some new content to your channel. I appreciate the information that you are giving us. Thank you.
Regarding button stance around the belly button, what about the jacket quarters? How open should they be and the overall jacket length - if covering the seat, and open quarters, the jacket essentially looks shorter?

andre holliday Hi Andre, when in doubt, a navy blazer or jacket is the default. Depending on how well you know this person (casual or formal acquaintance), you could dress down or up. I typically wear a jacket of some sort all the time even when receiving guests at home. Depending on the climate, you could use cotton or linen for a more casual and approachable feel. In the winter, Tweed of course.

How to know to which tailor you should go?? And what brand of suits should I buy if I’m very young and not financially stable or rich
Okey is there a video on how to self measure yourself regarding drape suits? Thanks.
