I personally think that the 2014 Australian Open QF against Djokovic the year before was Stan's best performance. Partly because hard courts are Djokovic's favorite surface and at the time, he already had a solid record at the AO. Along with that, Stan came in clutch when he needed to in order to beat Djokovic at his own game. However, I do agree that the 2015 French Open final was still undoubtedly one of his greatest.

It’s crazy to think that Stan won his 3 slams by beating Djokovic along the way in all of them, and yet Roger is winless vs Novak in slams since 2014. Stanimal is really such an apt moniker. He can pretty much beat anyone in a good day.

He can't beat Federer on hard courts. Look at the record and you will see that he is owned by Federer.

best backhand i’ve ever seen. stan and stefan edberg’s one handers are the best i’ve seen. a lot of other excellent ones from … federer, lendl, gasquet, tsitsipas but they’re more nice to the eye and not quite as effective at hitting outright winners.

Amazing talent. He could have won way more Slams. Best backhand (with Guga Kuerten) I've ever seen, only second to Edberg's. A coach like Ivan Lendl would have done wonders for him.
