This was great to watch! I enjoyed the process of you diagnosing the issues and glad you kept it all in and showed all the issues you had throughout the repair. Looking forward to seeing more content!
I have a D700 that does not power up. Would this likely be a dc/dc power board or is there a board like you replaced on this video? How often is the issue just a fuse? Where would I purchase such fuses? Thanks!
I trully enjoyed both episodes! Thank you. Just a quick question. Do you think a D3/D3S is resistant to sea water immersion? Found one on ebay with its lens stuck on shut. Any chances that the lens/body might still work ?
Hi thanks. No, most camera are not waterproof, rathe splash proof, beside some Olympus and some newer cameras that improved radically but still, not for complete immersion.
I had the same problem with my D3s, no power during power on, despite aftere using it for just abt 3 yrs wth low shutter count. Send it to Nikon service center Malaysia, they just shrug of and offer me to buy a new model instead... I still have it till now, in my dry box.

Too far otherwise I could give it a try.
Was it exposed to any water?
Did you ever find the right top circuit board?
Yes

Where can you get parts. Like circuit boards? I may need one for a D4S I’m repairing. Thanks.
Do you know of a parts supplier?
Thermal image can help identify shorts even at low power.
Yes, very aware of, next tool to add into my work bench 😊
