Look's like an easy fix. Too bad Harley makes it a pain in the ass to buy the part. They should recall it. They only sold about twenty of them. LOL$@@michaelross5178
I get the green Light but the bike doesn’t Start. I find if I tight the clutch cable, start, but have Poor clutch performance. Do you know what is hapenning? Thankyou.
@@kenpho6430 Hi. You need a long hex key or a hex head socket. If you can give the allen key, hex key a couple of sharp blows first. Not too hard and turn it out in one go.
I don't think the plate is any different but what I did find is the plate could rub on the contract pin stopping it from being springy in and out. I held it with a small screwdriver in the slot when I tightened the center plate bolt. Did you put the new stainless pin in with the round end? Was the pin free to push in and out with the spring behind it?
Im going to clean and dielectric the connector today. I also dont like the cheap style connector idk if it be worth re-pinning a new weather pack one or not.
Mine's a 2017 and worked alright up until now. When the bike is hot, you can't get a neutral light. Now I see why. Thank you for the excellent vid🍻
I've got a 2016 and I have this issue now.

Thankyou 👍👍
What screw driver you use to tight middle screw to hold plate?
Hi. The screw holding the plate on is an hex head, I forget what size. I used a very small screw driver in the slot on the plate to stop it turning.
@@ratdogfink167 Hi, I try to remove the screw holding plate to take old pin out but it's not easy. Do you have any trick to remove it?

I replaced mine and am still having issues with it! It’s driving me crazy! Edit**just realized I didn’t replace the plate. Does that matter?
Hi. Did you replace the contact pin also? Are you sure the new switch is the one with the larger contact on it.

@@ratdogfink167 yes, it was visibly larger, like the one In video and I also switched the pin to the silver one. 😡
