I've done that to people I love because I'm scared to get hurt by them. She's a widow, has a baby with her dead husband and works in a place where she sees death all the time. I can also guarantee you it was not easy for her to do it, she just felt as if she had to.

I personally love Natalie but she is doing what she did in Season 1 and 2 where she pushed all love and support away because she's so used to being independent and alone. Really hope manstead gets back together. And when the Ray Burke case was closed in season 4 I think Natalie just didn't know how to help Will get better and it got to her. Not to mention how little she trusted him after the wedding and his constant lies. I know he was forced to lie but she didn't know that. All of that would have started to get to her over time and that's why she left him. She even did say in an episode that she hoped he'd come home but not with the gun. But I really don't care what type of person people say about Will Natalie should think about her future with both Will and the other man that's she's currently with, whom do she see herself spending 50 or 60 years with together inlove forever.
