Why am I alive he should totally make a railgun that has irl rail gun ballistics, so basically a straight shot with 0 drop for as far as the eye can see and beyond.

Another humble suggestion. Convert the cluster missile to a single EMP nuke, as it seems to be ineffective when there are already lots of smaller missiles the ship can fire that take the same role. Second, love the sniper railgun idea, but have you tried messing with particle accelerators? This seems like a great opportunity to practice with them. Third, would love to see you use active defenses on this ship (setting flak to target enemy missiles and building anti-torp systems). This ship needs to keep its commander safe while he's running around on deck.

Post-revolution Resistance Log #4:
After destroying several of our scout ships, Lathrix and his abomination sailed through a portal - and we could not follow. However, we knew where he was exiting, and what his design was based off of - or so we thought. When he exited our portal, our fleet - designed to take down ramming vehicles, similar to Lathrix’s previous design - moved to intercept.. and found something completely unprecedented. The vessel was not a rammer, quite the opposite, in fact. When we saw his massive railgun, we thought we could take him. Then.. then it fired a literal stream of absolutely massive shells, and simply tore apart our first ship. Not even a second of fire, and it was completely disabled. The second salvo finished it off, nearly ripping our first responder in half. The other ships, moving to assist, immediately turned and ran. When seen by that ship, vessels initiated evasive maneuvers - but it was all in vain. Every time those horrendous guns spoke, a vessel detonated and sank. The command ship, from which this log is written, was lucky to be out of range.. even we would have not survived. Not even fliers are safe, given the moment one of our larger ones saw him he simply eviscerated it.
We will rebuild our fleet to deal with this new threat, and continue tracking his position via sacrificial scouts. However many lives are lost now, if we succeed in killing him, it will be more than worth it.

A BRAAAPP Railgun, That is comical but at the same time makes a lot of sense. Railguns accelerate a projectile as long as there is electricity applied. Meaning the limiters to how fast you can fire a railgun are how fast you can load a projectile and how much power you have. It is probable to have a railgun that can fire in the 30 rounds a second range
I hope Lathrix keeps that Railgun for future builds because it is adorable (and by adorable I mean devastating, somewhat economical, and very entertaining).
I am going to be honest, I hope the next railgun that Lathrix builds will have a single barrel because the single barrel looks more like a long range weapon.

This is one of the very few times I've felt afraid from watching youtube. Good job lathrix.
When I make a weapon, my priorities are as follows: 1) maximize damage with one shot 2) repeat 1 until satisfactory

2. Aesthetics & armor
3. Efficiency
4. Cost
Seeing these videos brings a smile to my otherwise bored face. It is now Day 6 of the household quarantine. I miss caffeine. I miss going on my quiet, late night walks. I may be an experienced introvert, but these videos and others like it keep me sane.

I honestly love making those kinds of railguns
Just launching a payload of like 100 6 module long pure HE / HESH, or even AP-FRAG-HE-FLAK-Pen depth (which i find to be fairly effective) shells in a short burst, all moving at like 1km/s
Costs an assload of energy, but I can use structures with RTGs and batteries so they can power it without being on the craft.

Extend the barrels on the rail gun and add rams to it. You know, just like how rifles can have bayonets? Then just use the turret aiming to whack enemies.
Basically you are just turning that radioactive radiation from those RTGs through a very long chain of reactions to material and then saving that material in the form of ammo. And when you sell the ammobox, you basically are selling that radiation from those RTGs and get material back in return. In other words, you have found a way to turn energy into material and stay net positive. You just made a scientific breakthrough Lathrix. ;D

Ok, I saw this and I wish to say it. I have come up with a traditional Layhrixian name for thou ship. The Tzeiche. Wait wait wait... it's a combo of 40k chaos god tzeench, and philosopher Nietzsche, which should well embody this ship's mission. I do understand however, if this ship should remain unamed, as it evolves in a new layers, of a hopeful war.
