Have a Spicer Pursuit frame, got it in 2020 with the wishbone seat stays. To further your point about "how a frame is made" matters more, I reached out to Gene about different fork rakes for the frame, and he commented that he wished he had known I was going to swap out the stock fork for a carbon one, not even the rake, because it would've changed one of the angles. He just builds them *that* dialed in.
I was 23 yo. Just moved to fayetteville arkansas. The year was 2012... inwas lifted a free fire mountain kana turned into a fixie.and and. Found a cinelli frame in a junk yard and fixed it up.... best years if my life Thank you zach!
I want a wabi cause of the classic look but in my country all I can find is track frames from 1960's the rest is all carbon and extremely expensive, there's no in between it's very odd hahaha
What about clothing? What is cool to wear now? I'm a roadie but I'm an old roadie and I feel it's embarrassing to be wearing bib shorts and cycling jerseys showing off my wrinkled and aged body at the cafe now. Back in the 70"s when I first started riding a bike I styled a T-shirt and shorts and even rode in Flip Flops. I'm used to spending the money on kit because all I own is Assos and Rapha currently. But I just bought a vintage style steel drop bar bike that I'm looking forward to riding a lot. I also picked up a pair of Adidas Velo Stans shoes.
@@jacobatherton8339 merino is great for skinny people, I'm a fat bastard and stopped using merino shirts last year, replaced them with thin polyester and it's much better, albeit I miss the ability to wash a shirt less than once a week instead of every other day :P
just got my first fixed gear, these videos put me on
same lol what bike u got
That second spicer, the purple one is mine. Had it for 13 years now and it’s still my TT bike. Love it

I got a pursuit from Spicer with threaded dropouts and love it. Looking for the right stem height now because, I'm not a teenager anymore.
Just got myself a aventon cordoba hyped to see how it goes next spring
That French 75 was the first fixed gear I purchased used. I regret selling it before purchasing my first Wabi Classic. It was a beautiful ride!
I've got a french 75 frame sitting in storage. good frame, I just didn't like the stiffness of aluminum on my fixed. steel for me.
The brand "Open" still produce some framesets with the integrated seatpost but those are gravel framesets :)
Happy to see you back uploading brk
Cannot wait to receive my Retro RG50 wheelset for my SSikki Spicer(multi angles). Will need special permission for low altitude flights.
bought a blue french 75 of FB for cheap just for the wheels. decent frame, I just wish the one I found was my size
The pake rum runner has a stiffer rear triangle than most alu bikes I have tried.
Zach what about Factory Five. My buddy had one. But it took months to ship from China to Alabama. Drippin in fixie points.
I have a Spicer aluminum road frame with a 1 inch heartbeat and downtube shifter braze-ons. My wife rides it.
@zach gallardo. Any takes or ideas to Ave Maldea framesets? Philippine made, most custom frames have the options for hi-ten steel or columbus tubings.
Make a video about the new Pre Cursa.

grinding on pedalroom. i see you
still riding my 2012 cinelli histogram!
I started on an SE Lager, then came across a Bob Jackson Vigorelli. No need to change frames for the last 20 something years.
I just got an SE Lager as my first single-speed/fixie. Can I ask why you changed?
@@braegrimes8870 Nothing wrong with the SE. Just fancied the Bob Jackson as I had lived in Leeds, UK for a few years.
Hello nice video Fixed gears are Awesome 👍
big fan love the honesty lol
Nice (educational for people like me) and funny video 😂
Would've gotten one if I could find one in 59cm in Thailand. Ultimate beater of a bike.
Pake Rum Runner that is.
Saving this vid till i have money to buy some wheelset and crankset

A merino wool shirt would pair well with those adidas and pants of your choice

My dosno houstoun is Isp its my baby i will sell my kidney 1st before my dosno
The integrated seat-post is so overrated. It is the reason I would not want to get a Weis or a no22 LIttle Wing.
Aren't there options for standard (non-ISP)?
Both Weis and No22 offer normal seat post options
