Hornet took several trys on my first play through but now I can beat her on my first try, she's basically there to make people who don't like hard games refund
Also, some people (like me) beat her first fight too easily, but her second and much harder fight just has an amazing feel, like she was going easy on "just another vessel" at first
Hornet was such a cool boss on my playthrough that i actually kept dying on purpose to make the fight last longer, and i really enjoyed every second. Hornet sentinel? She kicked my ass effortlessly in return

After watching the floor routine during gymnastics at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, I wondered if any individual athlete or team used music from a video game soundtrack for the choreography. That made me consider this theme, sped up to 1.25x to fit within the 90 second time limit for a floor routine. I agree with the other comments about this song being intense and urgent yet elegant and classy, fitting with the character. This would be an Olympic first if it happened. (Hope no one in the live audience shouts any of Hornet's battle cries.)
God, that one string bass note at 0:04 sounds so freaking good. It's the perfect amount of punchy and bouncy, both to match the intensity of the fight you're in and the thematic touches of Hornet's agility and speed.
Two moment really stick out to me. 1:13 - This was the very first time I staggered Hornet. I thought this musical stinger was intentional, but it was merely coincidental. Still, I liked how nicely it was time to my gameplay. 1:36 - I died at this very point on my second Steel Soul attempt to Hornet 2. From this point up until 1:47 is what I will always remember to be my Game Over screen.
Just fought Hornet a second time today and she’s a whole different level than from the beginning. Honestly the enemies that weren’t infected were really the most enjoyable bosses do to the fight style being of a duel.
It's interesting that the first premise of the soundtrack correlates with the general leitmotif of another OST 'Decisive Battle.' Your ability to decide quickly dictates the tides of the battle against an agile, decisive foe.

I'd like to tell you something, the SHAW has a meaning in my language but it's written scio' which you pronounce the same way. It's an exclamation you say when you incitate something or somebody to go away, you say: "scio',scio' out of the house, kids" for example. I think that's very fitting as Hornet always wants you to go away everytime you fight her.

I was in a tiebreaker for my college's art club costume contest today. I dressed up as Hornet and played this as I walked in while yelling "shaw" and "git gud" and "garamas". I lost by a game of chance to a guy dressed as Terry from Fatal Fury but at least I know I was on equal footing regardless.
i wish hornet 1 had a lot lot more health in godhome just so i can heal to full health and appreciate the soundtrack i brute forced my way through hornet 2 and second tried it with 3 masks remaining, i didn't heal at all, so i like hornet 2 as it is or it'll be really hard to dodge
Before you stands a hunter who kills their foes with a needle and threads whose combat skills are more like a dance than any seen style. this is more than a fight against mindless husks since this one has something the others don't the ability to think of it's own strategies as well as there being something odd about this particular bug. but a moments hesitation will end this journey it is best to be on your guard

I just love the feel of this song and when the melody gets transferred around the ensemble at the end!
