I HAVE NOT BEEN BACK TO SINGAPORE FOR 8 YEARS, WOULD LOVE TO JOIN THE CROWD EATING ALL THOSE DELICIOUS FOODS HAWKER . LOVE YOUR VIDEO AND SINGAPORE. 😋👍👍👍❤️🇸🇬
So nice the hawker centers back in business. Last time I checked in it was deserted. Don't know how they survived but glad they did. Food looks delish !!! Can't stand the weather though....way too humid / hot. Never been there but have ben in Thailand a few times. Love the people, food & culture but hate the weather LOL !! Cheers & thanks for sharing !
thanks for watching Rain mutt! haha.. no wonder you can't stand the heat. i was like dripping buckets goin around filming the hawkers. can't imagine how they do it everyday.. 🥵
@ Piggypuggy........hmmm, there are lots of goodness in that bowl of bihun soup.....awesome choice, bro 😋👍😍 @ 8:34....I spotted sukun but to enjoy this, it must be freshly fried ! All Stall Operators should follow the Beef Noodle Owner.....use tongs & knife and not with BARE hands 👍 Many friendly Stall Operators, allowing you to film while they "work" on their food....kudos to them. Awesome video and thanks for sharing, bro. Nearby at Hoy Fatt Road, is a popular Malay Nasi Padang Stall.....been there many2 times.
@@Piggypuggy Hi Bro, apologies as can't remember the name of the stall but it is inside the corner coffeeshop, as you turn left into the lane from Hoy Fatt Road. For sukun, choose those which are thinly sliced and freshly fried......the crackling sound as you bite onto it, boy oh boy, SERONOKKKKKK ! Have a great Sunday and take care, stay safe & healthy, bro.
I always eat the Chinatown beef king and the Penang stall near it. Many stalls I never see because I only go at night.. The malay kueh stall is interesting, maybe I shd go in the day one of these days
I thought I was blind too.. I usually go there at night.. and someone in my family will always order it.. it’s really a huge portion. Maybe they only operate later or off for the day
Hi Jean-Paul.. hawker prices usually start at $3.50 - $10. A pigs trotters should usually be around $5 and maybe a $1 to pair with a bowl of 🍚 drinks are usually $1-$2 for a local coffee. Compared to a typical $10 meal in Australia.. you can probably get 1-2 dishes to try 😄
I like the way you shoot the video! Next time, please visit the Sengkang hawker center. I have Aunty that owns a food stall there name Kartini penyek. Would love to see their stall feature on your channel.
Love your videos of the different stalls at each location. Great close-up of the food! By the way, your closed-caption of the word 'dapao' for to-go or take-out is a mispronounciation. It should be 'dabao'. It is a 'b' sound instead of a 'p' sound if you are translating it phonetically in Mandarin. 'Dapao' literally means 'to fuck' in Mandarin...hahaha. Cheers!
@@Piggypuggy hahaha! Good one. I'm watching your videos from Los Angeles. We don't have the kind of food you are showing on your videos here in LA. There are a few restaurants but the sourced ingredients are different so the taste is different. Keep the videos coming! When the pandemic ease, I will make the trip to Singapore to sample the food. Cheers!
@@m.lymann2185 hey.. someone said there’s gonna be such a foodcourt opening at Resorts World Casino at Vegas soon. Maybe you can check it out after the initial reviews 😎
@@Piggypuggy Vegas is a tourist trap. I lived there for a year and I couldn't wait to leave. I seriously doubt the food is going to be that good. But thanks for the heads up on Vegas. I prefer Asia. Cheers!
it's better known as ABC hawker centre. it's behind queenstown IKEA. But don't go there now.. sadly there's been a cluster breakout of covid cases of late. this is really hurting the hawkers..
6:50, it's a bit ridiculously close. No need for this. It makes me the viewer feel like I am wearing far sighted glasses. You are up way too close. And that slurping is unnecessary to capture. Also, I recommend not constantly blurring out (12:43) the video. You seemed to constantly do this for some unknown reason. It breaks the visual of what a viewer is seeing. Otherwise, great video.
Really ah?! I think I remembered buying it.. but I didn’t get to eat coz I was devoured by my family. Here’s a Bonus Track for you 😊 th-cam.com/video/1n7nusVELGQ/w-d-xo.html

@@Piggypuggy 😂😂they always sold out early... dont go late🤣
You should try the Jin Jin Dessert and the Hokkien mee stall (opposite Jin Jin Dessert). Both stalls are long queue most of the time
I actually wanted to find the Hokkien mee. But the uncle was closed. Jin Hin dessert I haven’t tried before. Will surely try next time. 😉
@@Piggypuggy Ah ok.. Next time go try both
