I'm changing my oil cooler on a mk7.each time I put the oil cooler back in place and bolt back up in getting a steady drip of oil from the part were it bolts back on. any ideas what I can do to stop this ? as its metal to metal I dont think it needs a gasket but I'm not sure
Is this cooler for the motor oil or the transmission fluid?

Did you replace it with a ebay oil cooler ? if so the oil cooler thermostat is not needed with the ebay cooler yes ?
