    Just fantastic. I love your crawling style (you know, actual crawling) and your commentary. Well done. Awesome rig. 👍✌️

    Didn't realize the 10.3 was so noisy. Are they all that way? I love my 10.2 and was considering getting a gladiator for a trail rig but think I'm going to get something else instead.

    Thinking about getting one for $350. Why did you decide to sell your??

    Maybe this is a stupid question but here goes anyway: why is this 10.3 so much louder than most of the others I've seen?

    What's your method to get the tires off the stock wheels?

    • @westdesertwheeler
      @westdesertwheeler  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stock wheels are beadlocks so you just take the hardware out of the back

      @@westdesertwheeler ooo I thought the stock wheels were glued. Thank you

    I just got my Jeep Gladiator few days ago. What should I upgrade first?

    • @westdesertwheeler
      @westdesertwheeler  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wheels or steering servo

    • @Nitro_Octane_Dually
      @Nitro_Octane_Dually 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@westdesertwheeler just had to replace the dig servo. What a flaw. On axial's part of that situation. Definitely worth the money though love this Jeep gladiator. I will do the wheels first that changes the look for sure. The Performance steering servo would be great to.

    • @westdesertwheeler
      @westdesertwheeler  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not the servos that are the issue. It is the end points. Still on the manufacturer, but if you can adjust it correctly they last a long time. I never replaced either of mine. But you have to change end points otherwise it will just keep killing those servos

    • @Nitro_Octane_Dually

      Thank you for the advice. I want to learn about every tip and trick.

    • @ConditionZero76
      @ConditionZero76 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@westdesertwheeler Agree, the only problem is you can't adjust endpoints with a RTR Transmitter/receiver all it has is D/R for steering which is useless in its own right & won't help your dig servo. Kinda ridiculous one has to buy a new Transmitter & Receiver for a RTR or else your servo burns up

  • @joshwilfong9334
    @joshwilfong9334 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What did you do to fix the dig servo issue? I have a Gladiator too and need to get it taken care of. Thanks.

    • @westdesertwheeler
      @westdesertwheeler  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I adjusted the endpoints on my fly sky GT5. There is a way to change them on the factory controller. Ask Axial

    • @ConditionZero76
      @ConditionZero76 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's no fix for it without spending the money on an upgraded transmitter & receiver. RTR's only have D/R which is useless & does nothing for your dig servo. Major Flaw on Axial /Horizon) , if this is considered a RTR truck it should of been sold with an upgraded Transmitter/Receiver that has endpoint settings!!

    • @thindigital
      @thindigital 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same issue with rtr Capra. No way to set endpoints on controller, dig blew first time. Got my money back!

  • @ConditionZero76
    @ConditionZero76 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice video, looks like the rear-end sticks out far past the rear wheels is that causing a lot of hang ups on climbs? & is that Huge front Bumper stock if so I'll definitely be swapping that out to something nice & tight when I pick this rig up ? Thanks
