Hmmm. Wonder why you gotta slide them for BC Eh? We have a few "EZ" slide spreads that everything works off one pull of a button as long as trailer was previously charged with air. Some of our guys don't understand why a trailer that sat for a few weeks cant be slid by using the button. You could talk to them till your blue in the face and they still don't get it. Anyways cool vid man. Keep trucking
Your first problem regarding closing the spread axle is that you are going in to Canada in the first place! 😁 Second, it's a pity the back axle does not move forward to greet the lead axle. I assume you are running a 48-footer where the kingpin to rear axle laws are not applicable.

this is done in BC cuz the further you get into the interior the curves are tighter and the 10' 1" spread tears up the roads
