The bubbles are bigger for several minutes right after the bubbles just got out of the diffuser due of the pressure that had built up. Once it normalizes the bubbles are a lot smaller.
Two ways I would fix that, heat up the tubing with hot water to push it further down, if that doesn’t work I would resort to super glue (but once you do that It would be very hard to remove it after)
I have a lowtech planted tank, with a corner(box) filter which produces bubbles like an airstone. Can I put the diffuser next to it or should I put it on the opposite side of the tank?
I see yours gets filled with inside with water? Is it how it supposed to be? Mine is not working at all. It is actually leaking co2 at the connection with the tubing. I thought that the wAter inside was somehow blocking it from going through. Right now I don’t know. I just gave up and ordered another one.
@@ThatShrimpDude had this same problem with a regulator i had received from amazon.. Went to Big Als here and got me a smaller (proper size) tubing.. fixed
i would definitely go for something like a Carbon Doser EXT 5000 instead, for such a big tank that im guessing will be heavily planted i think you will get the most bang for your buck
@@Aquatic_Amigo to my knowledge no, its able to fully diffuse c02 into the water instead of bubbling it out, which is better, but mostly used for bigger tanks or people with higher budgets
Fam you need to put a pump or the outake of the filter on the opposite side of the diffuser so it can evenly go around the tank your co2 is releasing out so it’s not going to benefit, watch some yt videos for help.
@@ThatShrimpDude Proper placement is placing the diffuser on the opposite side of the filter outflow so the water from the filter outflow crashes into the bubbles and spreads them in throughout tank...
@@gallardo20000 still working good, I actually think its working much better with a few months under the belt. 10/10 definitely gonna buy another one when this one breaks
@@christiancina5875 Yeah if its quiet and I come close to the glass it does whistle a little, not sure why or how to fix it but you definitely aren't alone!
You have to adjust the flow on the actual canister, to turn off the co2 get a co2 regulator (and possibly a timer). Neo Co2 is just the diffuser part of the system
Honestly the quality is not the best by any means but for the price I’d say it makes them one of my favourite. The other products are just ok if I’m honest
What you are hearing is a fishroom with over 2000 gallons of water and over 200 aquariums filters running in one room 😂 that’s why it might sound super loud

The Bazooka diffuser has finer bubbles.
Just bought one and gas leakes where the acrylic tube meets the tubing. How do I fix this?

Opposite side
Your neo diffuser looks nice, but alot of co2 gas is wasted, better you try adding a small powerhead to push the co2 all over your water column...
I have a 55 gallon and they cost me a lot! I would really like the kit!!!!!! I watched the video and liked and followed! Go shrimp gang!!!

I have an small aqua neo diffuser with 2 bubbles per second. But my drop checker still stays at blue, should I increase my bubble per second sir?
Might just be an issue with the dropper, I’ve heard they can be wrong a lot
How long does it take before this diffuser clogs up?
had it for months and have had no issues
@@ThatShrimpDude Okay thanks!

Try pushing it further down in the tube. If it’s still leaking co2 contact the company for a refund or more info they are great

I need a diffuser for a 125 gal planted tank .. do you have recommendations

@@ThatShrimpDude so with a carbon dosed you don’t need a diffuser?

Facts
Ended up doing that for a while but with my filter I guess the bubbles didn’t break as nicely and it was just too noisy for me to keep it that way :/

I've got one its the best diffuser I've ever had
100%

@@christiancina5875 Yeah if its quiet and I come close to the glass it does whistle a little, not sure why or how to fix it but you definitely aren't alone!
what size tube do you use to connect to the diffuser
Just regular airline tubing in my LFS

Co2 video for newbies???
I should definitely make that video :)
What filter are u running on that tank?
It’s been so long I’m not sure 😅 it’s fairly popular though
I have the neo diffuser and it keeps filling with water everytime my regular turns off.
Get a check valve or put your co2 tank on the same level as the aquarium, probably siphons the water back out because of the pressure difference
Yeah I’m that becomes a problem but with a check valve it’s no longer an issue
Dude, your old ones were green, holes were clogged with microscopic algae spores, that is why a brand new one works better.
How long should co2 run?
How ever long you have your lights on, maybe start 30 minutes before and stop 30 before your lights go off
How to stop this everyday? @thatshrimpdude
Letsss gooo give awayyyy gang
I didn't know moistcritical had fish tanks
biggest compliment
I hope i can win the giveaway! Thanks for the video!

Very large bubles
At the beginning but it should slowly get smaller
You need some flow
yo your filter is so loud
