Wow, now that was very involved….a great looking fly but a method I’d have to watch many times.
I have to try tie one if these Davie. I need to look up the paint can handle rig-up and how you anchor this to the vice(?). Thanks again Davie👍

Another cracking fly Davie. I would never have thought of using a para-loop hackle on a winged dry.
As always a cracking fly. I had great success in the summer one of the para loop flies that you posted. I'm not sure I have the patience or sufficient skills to try this one though.
How does it go - if you don't try you'll not know.

Very nice fly again..but i know a nice way to make a paraloop..use a dentistelastic for a stam for the hackle turn the hackle around the elastic 5/6 times ,make a torex en pull the elastic over the torax, tie off ..finish with some superglue

10/10 from me on that fly Davie! My Regal vice arrived in the post, it's a great job! It's the first good vice I've ever had & long overdue! I've been using rubbish ones for years. Just hope it's as bulletproof as they say. Cheers Emmet from Co Antrim.

+Davie McPhail I'm learning fly fishing since one year. I always prefer spinning and my handmade wobblers, but now the flyfishing is numer one. In my region of Poland flyfishing is not popular, so i must learning myself. The worst is fly casting and presentation flyes in water. It's not simple... But with Your channel tying my own flyes is so simple. Handmade lures and flyes are the best and it's fun to make it myself. Thank You Davie for this channel. You are great! All the very best Davie!
