For future videos I am interested in looking at "jeweler" targets from some of the discussion on your SOJ video. there is some interesting stuff there. In regard to level 85 areas: mLvL = aLvL for trash, Champs get +1 to mLvL and the Uniques and their minions get +2 to mLVL. All aLvL 85 areas drop TC87 loot, so uniques count as lvl 87 monsters, which then gives them the ability to drop the only 3 lvl 87 items in the game, Arach, Tyreals and Azurewrath (the only 3 items Pindle cant drop)

If we assume everyone gets rushed after the first week I think a lot of players are going to be looking for guides on how to find specific Uniques, so your recent guides are spot on. However, I would like to see a more data heavy comparisons of Andi vs Trav vs Specters for ring drops to show what the best use of our time is. which imo would be a lot more interesting than just saying "farm Andi till your eyes bleed". You are the first person I have seen actively advocating anything other than spam farming NM Andi for SOJ, and having the data to back that up could really get some attention imo. A lot of content creators are showcasing 100/1000 runs of X for General MF, but drilling down on atypical targets (charms, jewelry, runes) is a pretty under-explored niche as far as I have seen; if you have the time to explore it.
I don't mind having to find my way through areas. I know its more efficient to farm offline where the map is the same but i like to farm monsters while i navigate the random areas. this has led to me finding many nice items and runes anyway. Also i find it fun and it keeps the maps somewhat interesting.

Hey, Maggor lair 1, 2, 3 is actualy great, Unique mobs there can still drop anything from the game only champions cant drop tyraels might, azurewrath and arachnid mesh. City of the Damned in act 4 is also good as unique mobs can drop anything too. I found Tyraels might there once :)
Just a heads up when spawning into throne of destruction! Lotta times they have a linch mob that will try to kill you ASAP when you spawn in so just be ready and maybe ooen a TP befor entering if solo

Blackhorn's Face (unique death mask) is the best counterbalance to lightning enchanted foes. Team it up with Thundergod's Vigor (war belt) for extra lightning absorb.
Haven't tried d2r yet but i do remember when farming hard or higher areas alone in 20yr old d2 kill everything... Even as a sorceress so if you have to teleport backwards away you don't get hit by missed kills. And mess up the run
The pit is now full of fire immune mobs….I leveled a sorceress just to farm it as a fire sorceress according to your video. You might want to change it check it out for yourself. Great videos keep it up. So disappointing that there was a fire immunities there.
My dreamdin with grief coh and dual dream tears through this place. Diablo dies in about 5 seconds as well and I’m only 83. Conviction maxed helps a lot lol
I just leveled my first character the necro to lvl 80 and he was way easier then the sorcerer I’m leveling up now. I wish everyone had some form of teleport because that really is a game changer. The teleport staff was a pain and enigma takes forever
In my opinion if you use teleport on every character the game gets boring. what are you telling yourself? "i need to skip most of the map because i dont want to bother". Why even play the game. Just stack run speed% and half stamina loss and zip through the zones. At least then you actually kill things. I feel everyone is in such a damn hurry. its obvious teleport is broken. Any skill that feels like its required for every class shouldnt be in the game imo.

I only ask because I play on the console and without the /players command, you have a to spend a bit more time gear hunting to balance out the slow progression in solo.
Nah, these areas arent the highest relative to everywhere else in normal/nightmare. You want to be doing normal diablo and baal/nightmare andariel runs.

anything can drop from any monster, but depending on how many players are in game (or single player difficulty command) the regular monsters have less chance to drop an item at all. Don't need a full 8 players for max drop rate, 3-5 is usually the good range. bosses / elites are guaranteed to drop an item regardless of player count.
For item drops (by monsters or chests) the item's level is determined by the monster's level, or the level of the area in which the chest was found. For gambling, level is determined by the level of the character gambling, with some randomness thrown in. item level = Clvl +4/-5.

It really doesn't matter as long as you're able to kill them, the items are based off area level not character level. Level only really applies to gambling for loot. As long as you're able to effectively clear it fast enough then whatever level you're comfortable at is fine
