- Aimé Leon Dore is a clothing brand from New York, founded by Teddy Santis in 2014. ALD quickly became one of the best fashion brands of the last 5 years. They worked with New Balance and Porsche. This video is a short introduction to the brand's history and aesthetic and how Teddy Santis used his unique vision to create Aimé Leon Dore.

ALD was hittin right initially but more recently lost it a bit. Also their customer service sucks, bought a 90USD tee from there that went janky after two washes. When I got in touch asking for a replacement they straight ghosted me twice. They no different to the rest
I haven’t bought anything from them so I can’t say if you’re right or wrong, but I did hear some people complaining about the things you mentioned, hope they’ll improve soon and I’m sorry for your item, that sucks a lot

Virgil Abloh most popular designer of all time? If you’re purely talking about streetwear the 3 you showed (Kanye Nigo and Pharrell) are all more influential.
Virgil is the most popular designer, Kanye & Pharrell are better known for their music, they are extremely famous but not because of fashion. And Nigo is famous but he’s not as famous as Virgil Abloh, Virgil is a well known name even by people that aren’t into fashion. Plus you’re saying “you’re purely talking about streetwear” like Pharrell, Kanye & Nigo aren’t mainly streetwear designers (even tho Kanye changed his direction and Pharrell is now working for LV)
They are not more influential and they are not more famous than Virgil Abloh in terms of Fashion
Virgil had such a big impact that people outside of the streetwear and fashion community they all wanted sth from Off-White, yes people wanted a paire of yeezys too but they wanted them bc it was Kanye, not because they were good products. If you take all the great modern designers, nobody comes close popularity and influence wise to Virgil Abloh
@@_absolut3 you are younger than me so you don’t realize the fashion impact Pharrell had when he came out. He made dunks popular. He made BAPE popular and A Bathing Ape is arguably the most popular streetwear brand of all time. Off-White is not good design. The Yeezy design team was infinitely better. No one who isn’t very into fashion knows who Virgil Abloh is.
