It’s really interesting to hear all of that stuff I live in Stuttgart but I’m from Germany
I went to Vogelweh Elementary School from '83 - '85, Kaiserslautern Jr. High school from '85 - '87, and Kaiserslautern High School from '87 - '91. I lived on Vogelweh in 1143 G for about 6 months and then in 1107 G for the rest of the time. Both of the buildings I lived in have been torn down and replaced with townhouses. 1303C that is there now is pretty much where my 1107 stairwell used to be. Raider family!!
I lived in 1145 E around the same time for elementary school. Practically neighbors.
Kaiserslautern was off the chain 🤣🤣

I reallly wanna go to a DODDS school in Germany or Europe. Ive only been to Bahrain and now Im in Ankara.
I’m trying to get my parents to send me to an american high school (I’m German but I went to an American elementary school and I really miss English classes)
I went to Ramstein Intermediate school and Middle school.
School sounds pretty amazing to me!!!
I went to the DoD school in Frankfurt Germany
I was at SHS last year, I go to Wiesbaden HS now, but SHS is 100% better than PMS, like it’s not as much as a hot mess (administration wise). Also I think sometime before I moved there some girl got pregnant, there was also a whole thing with some girls drinking, it ain’t as bad as Wiesbaden cause so many kids be vaping over here AT SCHOOL, like they wanna get caught. One girl actually got expelled and banned, so she’s only allowed to be a certain distance away from the school, but she did other things than vape.

also: dodea students don’t have title ix, which means that if you are sa’d by a peer of teacher in school, none of your rights to justice, knowledge, or protection regarding the assault are available. this is only for dodea school overseas btw. if it’s on U.S. soil they can’t get away with stripping us of our basic rights

Rowena R Kinda. But it’s not hard to get into the cliques. If you are academically driven, you’ll have no trouble getting into the AP/ Honors kids, it’s the same with the sports kids.

@@ricecristi Well I'm a student here, and it's just really sh1tty. Everyone will turn there back on you or when you just come as a new student people would judge you and already start rumors when you dont even know who they are. It's just a really toxic place unless you find the right people to be friends with.

The high schools small, the teachers are so so, and the sports teams are gonna suck this year so many of the athletes either graduated or moving.

@@ricecristi it’s super common. title ix doesn’t apply to dodea students overseas, so you’re not entitled to any protection, or justice. it’s the department of defense… so it’s just covered up. same way they cover up sexual assault in the military, except this is more sinister and wayyy less talked about
