I was at SHS last year, I go to Wiesbaden HS now, but SHS is 100% better than PMS, like it’s not as much as a hot mess (administration wise). Also I think sometime before I moved there some girl got pregnant, there was also a whole thing with some girls drinking, it ain’t as bad as Wiesbaden cause so many kids be vaping over here AT SCHOOL, like they wanna get caught. One girl actually got expelled and banned, so she’s only allowed to be a certain distance away from the school, but she did other things than vape.

also: dodea students don’t have title ix, which means that if you are sa’d by a peer of teacher in school, none of your rights to justice, knowledge, or protection regarding the assault are available. this is only for dodea school overseas btw. if it’s on U.S. soil they can’t get away with stripping us of our basic rights

I also had racism when I visited a Pakistani gas station that was located in a predominantly Black neighborhood. As the owner was being racist at the register towards me, a White, young, male stole a bunch of candy bars 2 feet in front of the owner and we looked straight at each other as he did it. The owner was so racist and oblivious, the White kid just walked out of the store and turned to smile at me as he walked out. (White kids even know what stores they can steal at and never get caught, because the owners ONLY follow the Blacks - who know better than to steal and risk getting a criminal record. After the kid left, I said, “It’s not me you have to watch out for”. And I pointed to the space directly in front of the register where the candy bars use to be. The kid stole candy bars 2 feet from the owner). The owner must have watched his video latter on - because no more racism was ever directed at me again from him ever again.

I am 54 and observed race relations between the Black, Chinese and Korean cultures through the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, etc. In NYC there were always stories in the news about Korean grocers who owned stores in Black communities and the volatile incidents that could occur. At that time Asians were VERY aggressive towards the Black customers, but I find this has greatly changed and has now turned from volatile altercations with customers to micro aggressions and just the store owners calling the police nowadays. (Following people in stores is still a constant staple Blacks must endure - but this usually goes away if you go in a few times and strike up meaningful conversation at each visit and reach out to the owner). But Asian tourists and students I find LOVE Black culture. And as a Resident Advisor I found out quite quickly that it is much better to house a visiting Korean student with a Black person over someone from Japan - think history here. And usually within a week the Korean student is going to church with the Black person on Sundays or the Japanese person is singing in the choir of the Black person within a couple of weeks. (I had no idea so many Japanese LOVED SINGING IN THE GOSPEL CHOIRS OF BLACK CHURCHES). And even older Asian people in their 50’s, 60’s would visit Black churches. So racism is different depending on the situation. 1- Asians living in the USA treat Blacks differently than … 2-Asians living in their home countries and interact with Black people visiting than … 3-Asians who are visiting short term for 2 weeks - 1 year and are returning to their home country. I find Asians in the third example the MOST welcoming to Blacks and tend to form more positive lifelong connections; but many do in example 1 also. I worked in a Mom and Pop Chinese restaurant for 4 years and we even got a visit from the Mayor. (And then the restaurant down the street hired a Black woman to seat customers at their Buffet). People from NYC would come to take pictures of me. 😂 And told me it was unheard of in NYC. I worked there from 2004-2009 in Upstate NY. I had to ask 3 times to work there, but they hired me. When I was going to move they did EVERYTHING in their power for me not to move … even offering to let me stay alone in one of their 3 bedroom houses for free for as long as I worked for them. I had MANY great home cooked Chinese meals free work and would have a real Chinese breakfast before work. I think in the end, people value their culture and will value you if you learn to respect their culture.

Do a Hidden camera of a Young black man wearing a Suit and Walking in any German town. It will Show you how Germans really are. They hate black people wearing good suit. Here in Karlsruhe and Düsseldorf whenever they See black people they yawn with their mouths wide wide Open. They dont even Cover their mouths with their hands. As If to give us Corona Virus to black people. The whites, arabs and Asians do it. They all Join to Put their hate against black people. Even Brown people from India, Pakistan Middle east they all Join to do constantly microaggressions but they only do it against Black people. Berlin is Not Muti Kulti AS they say. I felt so many microaggressions everyday

I love a simple skincare routine, but make sure to use a sunscreen especially if you use a chemical exfoliator. Exfoliation makes your more sensitive to the sun, and uv damage leads to pigmentation and aging. You can find a lot information about the benefits of using a sunscreen, but i would highly recommend to incorporate a board spectrum sunscreen into your daily routine. You’re skin is amazing btw.

It always has been an exceleration of my experience and i loved it and i'm curious up until today. in the recent years Germany had a more influx of immigrants and refugees from north Africa and the middle east. So what - meanwhile the most of them are a valued working member of the German society and no longer victims.

Tbh I think sometimes it's because you're American. I think you'll come over as quite rude to Germans if go in to a shop demanding this and demanding that. That's not how we do it in Europe. For example, you say about taking a return, presume that means taking clothes back. Was there anything wrong with them? I think cashier was confused if not, because if not why have you taken them back? Maybe try to loose that American I'm always right attitude and you'll get on better.

the "customer is always right" thing boggles my mind... How comes? Does anyone suddenly know everything, just because he enters a store? Does he got hit by the flash of enlightment in the moment he is setting his foot across the doorstep? What a ridiculous mindset. You have to know everything for being always right, haven´t you? The thing is people from overseas just want to be sugar coated while shopping and be treated like a king or queen...respectively actually treated like a child taken by the hand..but we are adults. AND sugar coating is against german culture in general..and aristocracy got already abolished for over 100 years.. Here people are autonmous while shopping..we don´t want to be bothered by the sales men/women..when they approach us while we are looking for something it is annoying because he is interrupting us...and when we need them then we approach him/her for information... The same is valid for waiters in the restaurant by the way...when we need them ..we call them or giving him a sign..we don´t wait for them to come voluntarily. I was in the US and for me their customer service was annoying..I always and everywhere had the feeling the salesmen/women/waiters wanted to crawl in my arse...just to say it bluntly

Traveling in europe is really awesome..every young adult should travel a bit after school life before work life. I remeber when i had my drivers licence at 18. It was end of school, youre of full adult age..so i just packed my bags, grabbed half my saving and said goodbye for 6 month. Just with the car, a roadmap (mind you..pre cellphone time..well..i had a cell..but call and expensive sms were the only services) some food and will of adventure...went by car around europe. Every few days another city, every week another country. Im positive that changed me as person. Its like you travel the world at that age. And damn you france..i didnt found my way back home from paris..every road ended at the eifel tower..until i found another german car and desperate followed him in hopes he is also on the way home lol
