Some other annoying/funny shonen anime clichés: +When the cheering from comrades fills the hero with strength. +The hero who learns a secret ability without training or masters the training in a very small amount of time. +About the over explaining of rules you mentioned on game or sports anime. It gets worst when rules only apply when is convenient to the plot (for example Pikachu could defeat Pokémon from an advantaged type if they wanted to create the suspense that he is Ash's last Pokémon, but the rules would apply if they want him to loose the fight). +Sports anime when they cut a play in the game to show how they trained to do it (and it they use the entire episode to show it).
I think a shounen cliché would be a rival internally praising the MC when he/she witnesses the MC in a troubling situation. AND let's not forget the "Evil character spends way too much time laughing maniacally to finish off blank character and blank character gets saved or finds a way out" cliché lolol.

Another common anime cliche is an important character hating something a lot and then ending up become that thing their self. (For example: Eren -titan shifter, Kaneki - ghoul, Mikaela - Vampire, etc.)
I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time with the tearful goodbye to bear... it was funny, but I also love bear so it was sad at the same time! Oh the feels!

I just realised I have a bear just like that! and, was that killing power up scene similar to bleach (in the fact if Naruto and cone) ( but their relationship is "uncertain") but, the whole, like, talking bear, but, then again, big bear is the best stunt double! for my cliché, I would say that whenever a character is introduced, they always have a REALLY OP move, and later on, they are surrounded, and they think " what should I do!" and you are thinking " WHY DON'T YOU USE THE MOVE YOU CAME IN WITH! ", it just really makes me mad, but, it s a shounen cliché... lysm!

Main character is dedicated to nonviolence or pacifism to the point that they just allow innocent bystanders to get killed or their livelihoods to be destroyed because they can't see that their ideology has crossed into naivety (Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin, etc)
