- There are so many cliches or overly used scenarios that happen in shoujo anime and manga, both the good and the bad ones, so I decided to talk about them today. There are obviously still a lot of them that I haven't discussed about in this video because I didn't want this to be too long, but let me know if you guys want me to make a part 2 for this! I'm going to make a shounen anime cliche too soon, but I'll have to buy some short wigs first so I can play the guy parts! Hopefully I'll be able to make a Clichés in Shounen Anime & Manga video soon!
Btw if you guys see any giant RED X sign appearing briefly in any of my videos, it's caused by my video editor. I'm not sure why, but it sometimes appears for no reason after I've finished rendering the video, which sucks since I can't really go back and re-edit the videos because rendering takes a long time and I don't want to waste more time fixing a wee bit of X sign in the video, so just try your best to ignore that cross sign haha!

Another cliche: Main girl always hates male protagonist and slowly starts to love him after certain incidents such as (life saving/showing of soft side/confession etc. etc.) I love your videos, Rafi ^^

Another cliche: The main heroine is portrayed as someone that looks mean or scary, but is actually nice.
I've never scene that. Maybe in Shonen? or Toradora. Ryuji's eyes make him look like some kind of gangster dude and it's only brought up once more near the end. Even at that, I never saw him that way.

I think the getting "sick by being in the rain" stereotype comes from parents trying to keep their kids out of the rain :/ I have been soaked with rain several times and have never gotten sick because of it..

A little-side note of how I feel blESSED 🙏🏻 to have come across "Koi Dano Ai Dano" because it defies almost all of the cliches mentioned here. (And very lowkey mocks the cliches xD) I havent been interested in watching Ore Monogatari (idk if its spelled right ;-;) but since you've reccommended it I immediately assume it's awesome and I should try it! Nope! I actually go take showers on/at the rain(I'm Brazilian so srr for the bad writing) and even when I stay for like... One hour maybe with wet clothes I don't get a cold, and well if this rain thing is correct shouldn't it be the same with pools? Cuz I don't know about you guys but I never take off my bikini till its time to leave the place with the pool and nothing happens... So yeah, Why they don't get colds at the pool and get on the rain?

Cliches I have seen :: These are in anime and real life tv shows
-When the bad boy ends up falling for the main girl.
- When the girl/boy gets amnesia, they end up loving someone else. Example : The main boy gets amnesia and forgets that he has a relationship with the main girl. The main boy then ends up falling in love with someone else, but in the end still ends up with the main girl!
- When the main girl and boy get in a relationship, and one of the parents of the main character will agree with their relationship, and one of parents of the main character will disagree and try to break them up!
- The guy is usually taller than the girl.
Those are some cliches I've seen, but I've seen a lot more than that! :)

And a cliche i thought of is: 1)The long skirt, flat chested, short girl (considered undesirable by other guys) is thought of as cute by the love interest. 2) there is always a busty girl involved somewhere 3) main character has almost no friends (maybe 1 or 2 but sometimes a loner)

One anime cliche is when the anime girl always is in danger. For example Ran from detective Conan is always in danger from the bad guys. I mean like when a villain comes up, the girl ALWAYS falls into their traps making her look like she's so useless.
