      While the set may be $45K for a 3 on 6, which is already unobtainable by a majority of patients, what about extractions, bone grafts, and sinus lifts if needed? All of the prep work adds cost and I doubt every patient that walks into the office is eligible for this procedure with no prep work at all. What if the patient isn’t eligible for immediate loading? That adds another procedure and cost. What about the maintenance work? I’m sure a single set doesn’t last a lifetime. But at the end of the day the cost isn’t the actual issue here. The issue is that the research points towards implant retained solutions (3 on 6, all on x, bridges, etc) being the standard of care and in some cases if the patient is young, a NECESSARY solution to prevent significant complications down the line, so why is insurance still able to weasel their way out of paying by saying this is cosmetic? That’s the main issue here. Insurance needs to pay for implant retained solutions and stop the shenanigans. We need change.

      Yup ure correct. They wanted $57k for my procedure. No sinus lift. Just normal extraction, bone graft for the implants and general anesthesia. I said no, then they called me a few times and each time they lowered the price by a little. if they had just been up front with the price at around $45k, I would have said yes.

    Do you provide zirconia posts / screws for those who are sensitive to any metal (outside of gold & silver)?
    I found the option of zirconia posts for all on 4’s and all on 6’s but would rather be set up with more natural looking teeth such as those your dentistry provides with the 3 on 6’s.
    For those who need bone and gum grafts, what type of bone grafts do you provide?

    How do you clean under these bridges. Food will get trapped slowly under. Continuous inflammation of the gums is not good.

    • @SmileSystems3on6
      @SmileSystems3on6  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's just the same as food getting trapped between teeth. Brushing, flossing, water flossing. These are actually MUCH easier to clean than something like an All-On-4 or All-on-X where they cut out the patient's bone and create a thicker surface that is less accessible for the patient. The 3 on 6™ can be cleaned at home and never has to be removed for cleanings, meanwhile, the All-On-4 should be removed once or twice a year for cleanings.

      Extractions and bone grafting are included in the price. The cost of the procedure may vary slightly depending on your individual treatment plan.
      There have only been a few *very rare* cases where a patient wasn't eligible for immediate loading and needed to be placed in dentures for a few months - our providers do not charge extra for that. Rest assured, you won't be leaving surgery with no teeth.
      The maintenance for the 3 on 6 is relatively simple - daily brushing and flossing and bi-annual cleanings, just like real teeth. The implants and bridges do not need to be replaced or removed for the cleanings. Most of our providers offer limited lifetime guarantees as long as you follow protocol - www.3on6.com/guarantee. And compared to other full-mouth restoration options like dentures and All-on-X, since the 3 on 6 is segmented into smaller bridges, replacement costs are lower.
      Yes, insurance considers the 3 on 6 a cosmetic procedure and doesn't cover it. But our providers try their best to work with your insurance company and max out your benefits when possible (for extractions and such).
      Feel free to give us a call at 888-877-5790, and we'd be happy to answer more of your questions.

      @SmileSystems3on6  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If there's literally no bone, then no, and in that case even an All-on-4 can't be placed. Implants have to have bone, that goes for All-on-4 and 3 on 6. If there's SOME bone, then we have a high chance of being able to place a 3 on 6. Many 3 on 6 patients were previously told by a less experienced dentist that they don't have enough bone for implants.

    What I would not do to get a set in my head. I hate my teeth situation so bad . I would do next to anything to have an opportunity like that. I just turned 45 . I am a single dude who has not left the house to do any socializing in over 4 years. I stay to myself now and its because I have a mouth I am ashamed of. Many causes and drugs were one of them but genetics seems to be my curse. This is the only implant technique I have seen to actually look like a real solution . these doctors should have to wear a crooked chunk of plastic screwed into their mouth for half a year to better understand what their patients are going through. i'm still sitting here with a so called temporary that feels nothing like teeth because instead of making me a 'temporary' implant my doctor chose to ignore my concerns and insisted that he could make the crooked denture that i came to him with in dire straits to fit my mouth. he did not even try. all he did was screwed some holes in it and screw the crooked denture that i was hardle able to eat with into my skull. i have to stretch my lip over the chunk of plastic just to put my lips together. they are popping out of my face and stick out farther my upper lip is inside of the 'teeth' and they hang out way over my upper lip. they literally are popping out of my face and extremely uncomfortable. and the appearance of them is hideous not just because they are popping out of my face but they are also screwed into my skull hanging all lopsided. to me this feels like incompetance and neglegance as a doctor to leave a patient in this much discomfort but i don't know for sure. is this the way implant doctors normally treat their patients? is it really just about money? becuase is you keep on rushing your patents in and out the door then you are going to keep making these mistakes and no one is going to trust you to do the work in the first place.i feel like i am being ripped off by a doctor and he is not just stealing my money he is robbing me of my time and my life. i have been going through this for 3 years now. i can't even smile at people. it's made me completely isolate myself and i know that's now healthy for anyone. 3 years is a long time to be thinking about suicide daily. i would talk to someone about it but unfortunately i didnt have enough money to afford the straight teeth 'temporary implant' and this crooked chunk of plastic that i trusted the doctor would make fit right still doesnt fit and i can barely talk with it popping out of my face like this.

      Do these people look rich to you? In general people have to work and sacrifice for the things they want. Many people spend $300/month on cigarettes or alcohol, $100/month on coffee, etc. Most people could make a few small life changes to have the income to fix their teeth but they won’t prioritize it. It’s awesome though to see people who get disciplined and take care of what’s most important.

Most anyone who meets with a financial advisor will find that there is excess in their budget they can trim. There are exceptions to this, and it sounds like you’re one of them. That’s fine. But your original comment was a broad generalization about catering to people with Mercedes and not Civics. I can tell you, this guy is not driving a Mercedes. Most of these people aren’t. Most of them have to make sacrifices to afford their teeth. Rich people often never get to this point with their teeth. So in reality it’s the opposite. Personally, I think these are not beautiful teeth at all, too perfectly straight and too white IMO. If your teeth are so bad, then I actually am beginning to think that false dentures ( maybe only 1/10 the cost) that are removed at night are really not that bad. My parents elected to have these in their 40s in the 1960's and had perfectly happy lives with fairly good looking teeth - of course the dentistry Industry lost those teeth and couldn't charge anymore for fillings etc.
      But regarding the cost, obviously highly skilled trained and educated individuals will, if in the position to earn well, want to do so. Their education and training has been very expensive, they have been charged a lot of money to learn their trade so naturally they don't come cheap. The dentist trade materials are also extremely extremely expensive for dentists to buy. Even their dentist chair are mega money with suctions and power supplies. I understand those chairs are about twenty thousand ( £ or USD$). Their attendants / assistants also are trained individuals. All have to pay professional fees to the dentistry associations they belong to and I assume there's personal and professional Insurances they need to take out against mal practice claims etc. Most business is a racket of some sort or the business wouldn't be in existence.
