Thank you for this video, its been a challange finding good Queen's dorm tours. I have a question though, if you were going to rank all the residences 1-17, what would your list look like? I need a good list for residence selection this summer. For some context, I'm male, I'd prefer a single plus, then single, then double, ect. I'd prefer a quieter residence over a party residence, and on main campus. If you read this, thank you for your help! :)
Hi I’m glad you liked it! I’m a little biased but I would rank Watts as #1 just because it has a great location (close to dinning halls and other residences) and felt pretty social compared to the other single plus residences, but definitely is not a party res. I don’t know too much about all of the other residences to accurately rank them but I would definitely say to avoid West, Harkness and Wally’s just because they are far. However, I know people who ended up there still made the most of it. I hope this helps:)
I absolutely love queen’s and if I’m being honest I’m planning on getting into queen’s university I’m in high school and I’ve been looking everywhere for a queen’s university scholarship for international students but couldn’t find anything if you could help that would mean the world to me seriously and thx for the dorm tour it was pretty amazing
Hi! Honestly I don't know too much about scholarships for international students but I know most students with good grades receive an entrance scholarship which may apply to international students. There's more details if you look up "Queen's admission awards" and you can look for awards that fit your criteria (ex. are available for international students too).
Honestly I think all floors are relatively the same. The higher up you are, the less noise you get from the street. I was on floor 5 right across from the common room which was a bit loud but social so I liked it. There’s honestly no bad area though!
Hey Sydney, can I get your advice on something. I'm currently applying for 2024 fall and i wanna know would you recommended this university as a good university in Canada
Hey! My experience with Queen's so far has been really great, I've met so many amazing people and it's such a pretty campus! It's also hard to find a school with great, reputable programs yet fun social opportunities too. I was torn when picking schools and am so happy I went with Queen's, so I'd definitely recommend:)
