Three minutes of Ivy League heads refusing to condemn calls for genocide of Jews

  • The university presidents of Harvard, MIT and UPenn received an intense grilling from US congresswoman Elise Stefanik during a hearing investigating antisemitism on college campuses.
Congresswoman Stefanik, a Harvard alumnus, asked university presidents about tackling antisemitism on campuses during a Committee on Education & the Workforce hearing on Tuesday.
In her final line of questioning, Ms Stefanik pressed the academic heads about whether calling for the genocide of Jews violates their codes of conduct on bullying and harassment.
The presidents declined to label such calls as bullying and harassment, stating it depended upon the "context" and whether it had translated into actionable behaviour.
"It does not depend on the context the answer is yes, and this is why you should resign. These are unacceptable answers across the board," Ms Stefanik said.

Let's ignore the thousands of palestinian children that were tortured and killed just in the past few weeks. Apparently demanding that jews stop murdering palestinian children and stealing palestinian land is "calling for genocide". This is some of the most deceptive narrative twisting in the history of the planet. Literally straight out of 1984

Am I missing something here? "It depends on the context" is literally a perfectly valid blanket stance to have about judging any speech someone makes. Where is the complaint? Or is this another example of the right being irrational morons who abandon their own moral skeleton as soon as its turned back around onto their own principle? You can't whine that context matters for speech 85% of the time, but that with 15% of statements the context doesn't matter; freedom of speech must always be a zero-sum game, otherwise it undermines the purpose of itself

@daniellavicuna4308 you keep recommending that talk like Bassam known anything he is talking about... nearly everything he said was wrong... Zionism is simply acknowledging that the Jews have the right for their own country in the land they are native of...
the "Palestinians" are Arabs migrants that came from Syria, Jordan and Egypt - and they were braught by the ottoman empire and than by the british empire, only to stop and fight the jews that did immigrate (from the Arab countries surrounding Israel first, and than from the jews that came from the rest of the world - before we the jews, decided the create the zionism aspiration of returning to our homeland).
But Jews inhibited the land continuously for 3500 years.
they Are the natives, they tried to live in peace next to the arabs, but the arabs were the one that attacked Israel at the same day they declared independence (and many many times before).
My family lives on this land for more than thirteen generations.
And even though, Israel offered so many times a peace deal and a two state solution, and everytime they answered with more violence, they don't want a Palestinians state, they don't want to see the jews have their own state.
they want us to pay them the Jizya and to humiliate us.
But that time is over, Israel is not going anywhere, we the Jews will not pay the Jizya anymore.
and after the 7th of october massacre, we will never offer them a palestinians state again.
They raped women until them bled to death! they raped women until their pelvis was broken and they can't close their legs anymore! they raped little kids!
after killing a mother, they gauged her kid's eyes in front of his father, they pulled the kid's nails one by one, they amputated the kid's ear, fingers and one of his foot, and after that they shot the kid at the couch until he was dead they released the father and told him "now go and live your life" - my brother and I evacuated that father.
they raped women and shot them in the head while continuing to rape them!
they ripped and cut women breasts while they're still alive!
      they ate people's hearts!
they beheaded babies, children, women and men!
the time we were nice to the Palestinians is over, we won't give them OUR water, we won't supply them with OUR electricity, we will not treat them in OUR hospitals, we will not supply them with OUR medicines, we will not supply them with OUR fuel and we will not supply them with OUR food.
they can drink salt water or urine and eat their own shit to survive for all we care now.
the time we were nice and humane is over, they can begg the UN or their arab and muslim brothers in other nations.

@daniellavicuna4308please study history and you will learn that Youssef Basam is just a marketing tool of the so called "Palestinian"
Here are the historical facts. Feel free to do a proper, unbiased, research verify it.
1- Israel belong to the Jewish people long before prophet Muhammad / Islam were even existed. There are countless of evidence to support that: Archeological discoveries, art affects, items pass between Jews from generation to generation, historical books & documentations an yes also the Bible which even for non believers, must be treated at least as historical reference.
But let me give you a very simple example that most people should understand:
Jesus was born in Bethlehem and grew up in Nazareth. Where are those located? Israel!
(Bettelheim is currently under PLO in West Bank but original it is also israel)
What was Jesus, יהושוע, original religion before he "discovered" the "Holly spirit"? Jewish!
Does that make it simple so far?
Well unless you are anti semi or brainwashed Muslim, you must at least acknowledge that Jewish were in israel before Islam ever existed🤷‍♂️
2- Judaism exist for over 5,000 years. Islam exist for only 1,400 years. Yet...
There are 49 Muslim countries in the world, more than 40% of the world land, and 23 Arabs countries.
But only 1 Jewish country, the size of a small city🤷‍♂️
Please look at the world maps and compare the "Islam countries and the Jewish countries...
And yet, you guys calling us "occupiers" and part of the Western colonization" what a stupid joke😂
3- The so called "Palestinian" have nothing to do with the Philistine of ancient days. The origin of the name "Philistine" is derived from the Hebrew word "p'lishtim," meaning "invaders" = פולשים = פלישה
The name "Palestine" is not an "Arab name". In fact the letter P doesn't even exist in Arabic. Have you ever heard a native Arab say the letter P? No, they say B:)
The ethnic, linguistic, and cultural background of the ancient Philistines is from the Aegean region (Greece today). Nothing to do with Arabs, nothing to do with the Palestinian today. The ancient Philistine were extinct/ merged into the population there were ruled by. There is no evidence that any Arab "so called Palestinian" today is linked in anyway to the ancient philistines.
4- The Arabs in israel are not "the original settlers" of this land". They are descendants of Arabs tribes who were exiled from their original lands over the years: Babylon, Arabs peninsula, Assyria ect..
Back then, The empires used exiles and population exchange/ transfers as a tactic to prevent rebellions.
For example: they Transferred jews from Judea = israel to Babylon and Arabs from the peninsula and from Babylon to israel.. that was very common in those days.
5- When the Roman took the Land from the Jews, they called it "Palestina" based on the name that the Israelites used to describe its nemesis/enemies. The Roman purposely used this name to humiliate the Jewish people" by naming it after its nemesis.
But it had nothing to do with arabs people. Actually, very few Arabs used to live on this land back then.
6- When the British took over the land, they called it again Palestine. But it has nothing to do with a particular race of people called "Palestinian" . it was just a name the British gave to their British mandate". Based on the name that the Roman used which is based on the name which the Israelite used to call the Philistine race who used to settle the land. Non of those linked to the Arabs of today🤷‍♂️😂
7- During the British empire colonization, everyone who lived on this land were called "Palestinians" Jews and Arabs. Palestine wasn't a race or a nation🤷‍♂️
8- In fact, there was never a country called Palestine, NEVER!
Not during the Roman Empire, not during the Ottoman Empire, not during the British empire... and not even when it was under Jordan and Egypt control (1948 ~ 1967)
Palestine was NEVER a country of its own!
Can you name the first Palestinian president? Can you name the first Palestinian Prime minister?
      - Here is a list of the empires and people who ever ruled israel: Where is Palestine?
      1. Ancient Egypt (during various periods of ancient history)
      2. Kingdom of Israel and Judah (ruled by Israelites)
      3. Neo-Assyrian Empire (Syria today)
      4. Neo-Babylonian Empire (Iraq today)
      5. Persian Empire - Achaemenid Empire-
      (Iran today)
      6. Hellenistic Period (Seleucid Empire and Ptolemaic Kingdom)
      7. Roman Empire
      8. Byzantine Empire
      9. Islamic Caliphates (various Islamic empires ruling the region)
      10. Crusader States
      11. Ayyubid Sultanate
      12. Mamluk Sultanate
      13. Ottoman Empire
      14. British Mandate for Palestine (under British control)
      15. Modern State of Israel (established in 1948)
9- 1947- Although there were already over 35 Muslim nations and over 15 Arab countries back then, and although the Jewish had only israel. And although the Arabs in israel share the same religion , ethnicity, culture and language with neighboring Arabs countries, and could have gone back to their origin lands. Although all of this, The UN resolution called to divide the country between Arabs and Jews. The Jews actually accepted it, although they shouldn't have, But the Arabs did not.
Together with 4 Arabs countries and their armies, the local arabs attacked the Jews in israel. But Miraculously (and lots of hard work and support from Jews abroad) the Jews have won. And that led to some Arabs, those who were enemies of the Jews, to force to leave their "homes" which was never really theirs to begin with...
But "Arabs" who didn't join the war on the jews and kept the peace, were allowed to stay in israel and they still living and growing in israel until today. 20% of israeli citizens are Muslim!
10- Mecca is the capital of Islam not Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the capital of the Jews, it always has been.
In the Quran, the name Jerusalem doesn't appear explicitly even one time. Nothing, 0!
In the old Testament" = the Jewish Bible = Torah, The word Jerusalem appear 847 times!
11- Ignorant people call Israel "an apartheid state- yet they can't give even ONE example of an apartheid law in israel. Why? Because there are non!
Israeli Jews, Arabs, Muslim and Christian entitle to the exact same rights and obligations. Except that Arabs are not forced to join the IDF. Only Jewish do.
12- Some ignorant will talk about "borders" and check points in West Bank and Gaza as a "prove of Apartheid".
But those are just borders between 2 "non friendly states" it has nothing to do with "apartheid"
Israel does not really control West Bank since 1993 , and definitely doesn't control Gaza since 2005.
"Palestinian" who are israeli citizens can go in and out of israel freely, all 2 million of them. Palestinian who are not israeli citizen can not come freely to israel. Because they are not israeli citizen and many of them want to do Terror in israel. Other countries permit everyone to pass through their borders without any check? Its ridicules.
On the other end, no israeli can go to West Bank or Gaza. No one at all. Unless he want to commit suicide in a most painful way.
13- Some ignorant will talk about "genocide" that israel is doing to the people in Gaza since 1948.
Did you know in 1948 there total of 80,000 "Palestinian" living in Gaza and after this "huge genocide over the years there are now...
2,000,000 people! 24 times than proper to 1948.
West Bank? Prior to 1948 it was 400,000 and now it is 2.8 million!
And what about israeli Arabs? Their population has grown from 150,000 to 1.9 million.
14-Al - Aqsa Mosque was built by Caliph Al Malik purposely on the Jewish most sacred location. The Temple Mount, Har Habait, Which according to Judaism is the source of creation.
Yet, although it is under israel Control today, Muslim are allowed to pray there freely, and Jewish aren't. Because Jews have to "respect" Muslim feeling.
So if there is any apartheid in israel, it is actually against the Jews.

As a citizen of Corporate America I am required to take the anti-harassment training every year. The biggest thing I got out of the training is that rhetorics that cause emotional distress to the recipient(even if she/he is not the intended recipient ) is called “harassment “, regardless of the original intent of the person who made the comments (in other words the commenter can be completely innocent). Even if these rhetorics do not constitute illegal conduct, they are definitely a violation of corporate policies and code of conduct. The commenters are subject to punishment like being fired. After watching the above video, it seems like either Corporate America has higher moral standards than Intellectual America or the presidents from these schools are overdue for the harassment training. 😂

    • @RodinThink28
      @RodinThink28 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

There is a difference between Corporate American and Intellectual America. In Corporate America, you have to be careful what you say for fear of offending someone who will run to HR. In Intellectual America, there is a wider range of acceptable speech, i.e. freedom of speech. The point is that one does not have carte blanche to say anything, i.e. there is a line to be drawn even in free speech. Calling for genocide or violence is where one draws the line.

Hamas is permitted to raping the captives
      Sahih Muslim 1456 d
This hadith has been reported on the authority of AbuSa'id (al-Khudri) (Allah be pleased with him) through another chain of transmitters and the words are:
They took captives (women) on the day of Autas who had their husbands. They were afraid (to have sexual intercourse with them) when this verse was revealed:" And women already married except those whom you right hands posses" ( Qs 4 : 24)
It is permissible to have intercourse with a female captive after it is established that she is not pregnant, and if she has a husband, then her marriage is annulled when she is captured
When having sex with the captive, slaves, it is better to not to pull out at the end ( coitus interruptus)
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: that while he was sitting with Allah's Apostle he said, "O Allah's Apostle! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interruptus?" The Prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence."
      Shahih al Bukhari
      Sahih Muslim 1440 c
Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported:
We used to practise azl ( coitus interruptus ) during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). This (the news of this practise) reached Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), and he did not forbid us.

@@tdb517In the Western society, kids learn already in kindergarten, not to generalize and hold anything against a whole group of people just due to acts of a single person of an ethnic group.
So there is no justification, to call for the murder of a whole group.
I personally know Jews who survived the Holocaust or that lived during the 40's, yet I have never ever heard them explicitly state that all Germans should be killed. I was not alive in the 40's however I have never ever heard of groups of Jews, that called for that in the 40's. I can say with great certainty that even if there was a group which did, it does not reflect the opinion of all Jews.

The Palestinian population is just growing and growing, if Israrl wanted to kill all of them, you would see almost no Palestinian survivors, so what are you talking about?? Israel is fighting the Palestinian terrorists, the same way Jordan has fought and killed many Palestinians during Black September, because of the Palestinian terror attacks.
If Palestinians put their weapons down, there will be peace with Israel.

@daniellavicuna4308 Horse shit. Just exchange the word Jew for Black and muslim and then go on chanting death threats all you want. That would be a fine example of free speech for Morgan or any other Arab to listen to.
