Thanks for the installation advice on this step bumper. My son's F150 was rear ended and the black portion of the bumper was torn off. The chrome parts are almost perfect so we went to a collison shop to get an estimate. We told the guy that we would have to pay 100 percent for the repair due to uninsured motorist and please keep the costs down. They came back with an $1,780 estimate with an all new bumper assembly. After looking at your demonstration, we purchased the step bumper pad from Carparts for $52 plus shipping. We should have to new part on the truck this Saturday. We'll have figure out some wiring for the license plate light and backup sensors. Thanks again!!
