That boot removal tip was an absolute life saver. I’ve been going crazy for awhile thinking why i couldn’t engage those gears. Removed the boot earlier today and boom there they were 2,4 & R. Thanks for the info man.

Hey weird question about the fiesta
So I was watching your short clip of the dash and noticed that the center screen was digital not blue… did you upgrade the screen? Or did something change between the 2015 and the 2016’s. I can’t find any info on it anywhere

Or is it just the lighting

It's the lighting....I've done nothing to the screen in 6 years. You can change the background though.

@@gray25xt what do you mean by the background. Like you can change what it is displaying or?

@@danielmoran654 Yes you can make a custom screen background just like on a laptop or phone. It's in the users manual, its easy you just load the image onto a SD card (USB drive might work too) then stick it in the car and find the menu to install it. Most newer Fords allow this.

@@danielmoran654 Yeah like a desktop background on a computer. Look in your manual, it's in there, or do a search, people change their background often. I just never did.

Having some sloppyness issues with my 99 ek. I'm thinking of just replacing the pin first. do you think replacing the b*tch pin would resolve the issue? Thanks 🙂

I'd crawl under the car and examine the pin first before buying parts or making a plan. It's easy to spot and you'll immediately know if it is sloppy. It might just be worn out which would make it extra sloppy.

@@gray25xt i did replace the shift linkage bushings with poly urethaine ones thinking it would solve the problem. But it was still sloppy. Next thing is that pin. Though i am weighing things out if i go straight to PLM or just replace the pin, since the pin is just 12 bucks. Probably trying the pin out before jumping to PLM.
