If you want more sound in your Jaguar F-Type V6 and V8, remove the fuses F43 and F15 controlling the vacuum and exhaust valves before trying this out. I was considering a muffler delete, and the Jaguar forum recommended to try this instead. it's night and days!! The car is way way louder, the sound is more crisp, it cost nothing to do and it can be done in less then 15min by yourself. page 199 in the user manual. Thanks me later ;)
Bought my Jaguar F-Type about a month ago. I wanted my exhaust louder and wanted to do it the cheapest way I could. Saw your videos and went similar to your setup. I removed the whole exhaust system. I gutted my cats. I cut the muffler box open like you did. Went to the muffler shop and had the resonator straight piped in the middle and had it straight piped in the muffler box with the top piece welded back on. Also had them straight pipe where the valves are located. Following, I ordered the stage 1 tune from VAP for around $1,000. I have the base model so it's supposed to be 340 hp and that went to 416 hp. I'm not racing it so that's plenty of power for me. In the process, with the tune I also got check engine lights removed for being catless, got that stupid auto start/stop system disabled, and got the awesome pops and bangs feature added. Just wanted to say thanks for your videos and your help.
I have a 2018 ftype V6 S with a quicksilver sport exhaust system, sounds insanely good. Also I got a 500 bhp tune on it so it’s pretty fast now, I used to say it’s quick with 340 bhp but with 500 now it deserves to be called fast lol. I reckon it’s 0-100kph is 4-4.1 now.

@@jaiveerrsharrma8462 I went catless since it’s cheaper but the sound is too loud so I added some mini mufflers to help quiet it down a little. I didn’t feel a big gain in performance with catless downpipes though. To max out performance, really the transmission tune made a big difference. I will be working on weight reduction next such as lighter rotors, wheels, lithium battery, etc.
Well im looking the video for some times now and now i miss the crackles verry much 🤔 youve lost your crackles cause of he VaP tuning? I wanted to tune my too up to 420 ps remap only wirh velocity ap. But i dont want to loose my haaaaard crackles 🥺
I asked Velocity AP to keep the burbles and pops a little lower. They can adjust the volume and amount of pops and bangs. You just need to request it when you’re uploading your ecu file.

No rasp. The exhaust got deeper. No drone either, but I have the stock exhaust valves so they still work. Even with valves open, no drone.
