Just one thing I thought I'd note, I spoke to a rep from Medik8 a while ago, and was told that acids and peptides don't mix well as some peptides can be broken down when used in the same routine with certain acids. I vaguely remember seeing something like that from Deciem.

I wish I’d watched this a year ago 🤦🏻♀️ I shelved most of my skincare whilst pregnant because I couldn’t find a clear “this is safe, this isn’t” and had no idea what was for the best. Fast forward to baby being born and I’ve had to bin and replace most of it because it’s now been open too long. My skin is in the worst condition it’s been in since I was a teenager, I think a mix between the hormones and going from a great skincare routine that had worked wonders for me to the very very basics has done me in! Feels like starting from scratch, hopefully I can get it back to where it was!

I bought the Kate Somerville Liquid ExfoliKate and it has improved my skin so much in the 1 week that I have used it.This has been the only change that I made. I got my kit today from London to a small town in California in about 48 hours from shipping 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 literally the perfect gift to open on a Friday after a tough week at work. My skin is in good condition (thanks to you). Should I save my Power D for when I inevitably over-exfoliate? That's kind of the only barrier damage I run into these days -- two or three times a year. Or is it better to keep it in my daily/weekly rotation?

Caroline ive been waiting for ages for an expert to mention couperose skin. I have couperose skin across my cheeks and side of my nostrils which i have inherited from my mum. I cover it with bare minerals make-up (the swirl, tap, buff motion works a treat in covering up the small red vains) but when it comes to actual skincare products, nobody ever seems to mention the condition so the only advice i've had is from Dr Google. I will purchase the product you've recommended and see how it goes. I know nothing will eradicate the problem but defo willing to try anything. Cheers!

On exfoliating rosacea/eczemaic/sensitive skin, i thought i had a permanent reaction to glycolic acid because the ordinary toner gives me either white bumps on the perimeter or dermatitis on the center, or both if i'm unlucky, but i've found i can use it, even nightly, if i apply an occlusive oatmeal cream (eucerin eczema baby for now, reccomended on dr dray's channel) afterwards! I also find that i can't use a cloth and use an AHA or retinoid, thought i was too sensitive for them until i did an acne study and they told me to stop scrubbing, dr dray said the same. Your fingers are exfoliating enough if you have a chronically weakened skin barrier, but now i get the more fine tuned benefits of the acid/retinoid without the flaking or dermatitis!
Can you do a men's daily routine that simple? maybe give 2 options of products that do the same thing like an expensive and non-expense routine? IDK much about skincare.
I love alpha-h vitmin B! Best skincare purchase I have ever made, has made such a positive impact on my skin. Use it everday in the morning before my Vitamin C (I use drunk elephant). Great combination for the day

I didn’t include a vitamin C because my first three choices said yes, and I didn’t want four serums. The Alpha-H will help. And for hubby, he can use it AM or PM. The daylight will activate it at either time x

I would love my kit, but the courier claimed to have delivered it and had it signed by me but I was at work and my husband was in and no one tried to deliver. Gutted and leaning on them for an investigation. They are normally fine. Classic that it’s the best parcel I’ve ever waited for that goes missing or is nicked!
Ask them for a copy of the signature that was used on delivery. If it’s your signature as they claim, there’s no reason they can’t send you a copy. If they can’t find a signature, or it’s not yours, that will help you in your case. I hope to goodness you get your kit. Cross fingers for you.

I did get some ”rolling” with the Oskia Cream, did i use too much? I was pretty light handed but maybe not enough? I usually get that problem with silicone heavy products only.

Yes no fluoride toothpaste. I’m a bit scared to go back to my normal skincare routine. So far I haven’t had any flare ups. Are there any ingredients I should stay away from? (Except for fluoride and cortisone?). Can I use vitamine A and C, all the acids?And are there any products in particular that helps to make my skin barrier strong to keep any flare ups away. May be a possible stupid question but should Zelens Power D only be used during the day to the benefit of it being reacted by the sun? Or does it matter? I personally haven’t found a difference ether way but I’d love to get the benefit of using it correctly! 🥰

Would you use the alpha H instead of a vit c serum? Or if you wanted to use a vit c serum too, where would you slot that into the morning routine?
You would use it in the mornings yes, over the Alpha-H if it's a thicker consistency, underneath if not.

Thanks so much Caroline! Mine is arriving tomorrow so love to hear your advice for routines. My questions if you have time! Why didn’t you include a vitamin C? What would substitute it if any? I have some pigmentation that’s keeping at bay and I feel that vit C helps, but maybe something else from the kit will? Lastly, for those vit D drops that will be amazing for my husband, should you apply them in the morning with no spf so sun light activates them? Sorry, not sure I got it. Thanks so much!! 🤗🙌❤️
I didn’t include a vitamin C because my first three choices said yes, and I didn’t want four serums. The Alpha-H will help. And for hubby, he can use it AM or PM. The daylight will activate it at either time x

I would love my kit, but the courier claimed to have delivered it and had it signed by me but I was at work and my husband was in and no one tried to deliver. Gutted and leaning on them for an investigation. They are normally fine. Classic that it’s the best parcel I’ve ever waited for that goes missing or is nicked!
that is awful!!!!! there should be an investigation.... I hope you can get to the bottom of this.
Ask them for a copy of the signature that was used on delivery. If it’s your signature as they claim, there’s no reason they can’t send you a copy. If they can’t find a signature, or it’s not yours, that will help you in your case. I hope to goodness you get your kit. Cross fingers for you.

Yes no fluoride toothpaste. I’m a bit scared to go back to my normal skincare routine. So far I haven’t had any flare ups. Are there any ingredients I should stay away from? (Except for fluoride and cortisone?). Can I use vitamine A and C, all the acids?And are there any products in particular that helps to make my skin barrier strong to keep any flare ups away. That are a lot of questions :D. Thanks for the quick answer!

May be a possible stupid question but should Zelens Power D only be used during the day to the benefit of it being reacted by the sun? Or does it matter? I personally haven’t found a difference ether way but I’d love to get the benefit of using it correctly! 🥰

So, I am 43 and I have the Clarins lotus oil which I use in the evening mixed with my night cream. I want to start using the retinol, is it ok to keep using it with my night cream??? Is there something in the kit that I cannot use with this oil??

Great video. I get redness under each nostril, slightly to the side, nowhere else. Do you think the Zelens applied just in this area will help? Also - can the medik8 be applied around the eyes? I thought not but on their website next to this product they have a before and after shot and it is of the eyes. Thanks!

I am a little bit confused about SPF in the winter days. Should I use it on the days when I go to work early morning and have around 20 mins exposure to cloudy sky? When I get back it is already dark...

When you said, older and want glow-ie skin use this, this and this and swap this in....I was like finally. Is there any chance you could do a little more of that to help me understand this better. Glow-ie skin - done. Dry skin order? Red skin order? And so on...

Hey Caroline, I am 35, good skin over all, just oily in the tip of my nose, not even t zone, the rest is dehydrated, I am using dermal quench liquid lift retinol advanced resurfacing treatment, from Kate sommerville, if I use the medik8 as well, will it be too much? what about with the pixie tonic?
Yeah too much. Finish up Kate and then move on. Tonic is ok. Mild.
