The thing is, I think, that folks in Chicago referred to tracks as "deep" even before DJ Sprinkles started producing house. That's why, ever so thoughtfully, Kelly over here starts by saying "Speaking from Chicago..." There's a Ron Trent interview where he says it clearly, tracks like Michael Watford's Holdin On were what they called "deep". Don't get me wrong - tracks by DJ Sprinkles to me are as deep as it gets. It's just that the term "house" comes from Chicago, and people have used it even before DJ Sprinkles rose to prominence. So... you know... a little humility ought help one expand his/her views of a genre he/she values.
@@Ian_Upchurch have had the pleasure of seeing her twice. first time was b2b with Finn Johannsen in Sydney right before Covid hit. and then second time was Inner Varnika festival last year and man so divine. Make sure you do it atleast once, you won't regret it.

Best comment ever ❤❤
just ran into DJ Sprinkles and so glad I did, I feel like a new world of deep house just opened before my eyes
Fuck yea! I’d luv 2 see him live
Speaking from Chicago, this is what you call ChillHouse and NOT deep house!!!
@@kellyhughes7076 lol. this is DEEP house. the deepest. sprinkles is known to have had a formative influence on the genre for decades.

this song makes up the bedrock of my taste in music. funky. heavy. unconventional
Track: "you can always leave"
Me: Im here to stay.

New discovery of a gem
love both versions
Mihai Pol - Francis
The third one, I advise you to listen it you will love it, more punchy & dynamic !
Dj Sprinkles version is way classier, in my humble opinion.
Steve Roro nooo, nothing punchy or dynamic on mihai pol's production. really, sounds just bad.
