It's the closing set of my last festival of 2015. My pill is wearing off and I'm surrounded by all my friends, all of which I won't get to see much of after this as I'm starting my first proper job after university in a new city. That special person I'd met at the festival had left earlier that day who I'd never see again. And Jon Talabot closes his set with this. Just tears, tears streaming down my face in the darkness as I dance along. It wasn't even sadness, just acceptance. An awareness that my life was changing and I had to let go of some things and move on to this new chapter in my life. And that was okay.
I like to come back to the comments of soulful songs such as this; I feel in a way connected with everyone's experiences of sadness ; change; bliss; and longing. I can feel all of this. every day I am amazed to see that I found a place in music where I feel safe and where I can just disappear for a moment
My dog just died and I’m listening to this now remembering all of the wonderful moments I had with him. I love him and I love this song for the healing powers it has.
I Started working in a Underground Club and I worked there for 4 years this was our theme song there when all the people left and just the staff and close friends are left. We would dance to this with full lights out. I wont forget that part of my life as one famous artist which was our guest in that club said, this is your life's honey moon phase enjoy it. I never felt so free in my life. I bought Vinyl when I was in Tbilisi for a rave.
Masterpiece -- one of the finest pieces of electronic music ever made. There is something about the musicality of this tune that makes you feel both utterly lost in nostalgic feelings -- while at the same moment hopeful for the future... it's so powerful in its simplicity ❤️
Listening to this after my family had a huge unnecessary fight on Christmas eve. Life can be so challenging, but this track helps me navigate through it.
You know, I read comments of tracks I find because sometimes you find stories in the comment section that just capture the essence of the song so perfectly. I could imagine the scene you described perfectly as the music video for this track. It’s both heartbreaking and profoundly beautiful. Like a tragedy. The tragedy of being alive and a mess all the time. But then there’s hope sometimes, y’know? Weird. Thanks for your comment. I’m really glad I found this tune.
@@kaelinjoel9328 The comment section under one of a kind tracks is always just as special as the tracks themselves! An abundance of fitting stories, thoughts and experiences. It's a micro-community of like-minded people and good vibes. Music is so special, because it connects people from around the world. And thank god there is hope. Without it we would see no light guiding us through dark times. Thank you for taking the time to process my story. Stay safe, Kaelin!
2016, dancing with a beautiful girl at a rave in Tottenham Marshes as the sun dawned and this track was playing..,ah, the memories. Lockdown is so fucking shit.
This has always been one of my favorite tracks. I remember the first time hearing it at a house party where there were some djs playing and everyone was starting to clear out of the room cause it was so late. The dj dropped this and it was only me and a few of my friends dancing away, there’s just something so special about being in a room with people you love and care about. It felt like that moment was meant for us. The way this song can make you feel sad but also excited for what’s to come. I’ll never forget hearing it for the first time.
Thank you for creating this masterpiece, it brings tear of joy, many times tears of repressed emotions..always feeling better after hearing this tune.. this is probably my 50+ time hearing it and first time feeling like sharing, thank you thank you thank you, this made my life so much better in sos many ways 🫶🏻 love, peace and unity 🌷
Going through a long week full of highs and lows. Came back to this song as it gives me the same feeling I got this week. A pinch of hope but realistically accepting the pain and sorrow around you. This song man.. it’s out there in a good way.
Sasha 'sound of renaissance vol 1 ' ...'dogma' into 'triade' ( by traumer arguably as good as this track) into this...bloody perfection. Oh to have been at the club when that mix happened
nikss sss please can I see this video?? Seen Talabot play all the things at sunrise one year, my instagram’s hardennashtee if you would be so kind to let me see that video, sounds magical
Ok huddle up. Here is the play..Let her go by. Thats it?! Yep.. We have to be on our side.. She will T bone us! No..She will go right by... She will slice your belly! Yeah well. Life goes on.. Ready break! ❤️🔥🎇⚡🦋

This amazing piece of art makes me so sad, but in the best way ever possible
I must cry everytime. Play this at my funeral or I'm not gonna come.

Song of the decade

What a beautiful journey of the soul
Sad and triumphant, a beautiful mixture
Jim Orme yes it sounds like it could pick you up but then it stirs up a bit of sadness. Like a good memory you wish you could forget
