      I have the cheap carb in and for some reason when it is cold I have to take the spark plug out and pull it a couple times to air it out and then it will fire right up. It won't start cold unless I do that. Is it flooding itself? After that it starts right up the rest of the day fine. On half choke it acts like it's on full throttle though. Kinda weird

      @@smallengineguys sorry. i get what you're doing and more power to you, but if the answer is "hey, buy a cheaper version of a replacement part" is it really a repair? I was looking for a video of pulling the carb apart and replacing the gaskets, any tricks involved in that. I mean it's not like the carbs themselves die. Just a bit of frustration there :)

      @smallengineguys  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Fifthsboy the parts I provided the link for are tried and true. The Stihl dealer even throws a new one on. Fyi the zama carb it has on it is Chinese.

      @@Fifthsboy and the carbs do die. The ethanol corrodes the aluminium the etched out bit makes old carbs not work after rebuild. So not worth the effort 50 percent of the time
